It's like a blind date turned into true love. I accidentally found this bagel store & became addicted to their bagels. The texture of the dough is just right, & the taste is delicious. Their sesame bagel is my fave. Highly recommended.
I've been going to Le Trou for half a year now. I always get the Egg & Cheese deluxe with extra cream cheese & it's the perfect morning sandwich!! Compared to other bagel places, this is certainly my fav in Montreal. The texture is perfect, it's not too tough or too soft. & the taste is balanced, not too sweet or bland. I enjoy just putting butter for a quick snack & it really brings out all the flavours. The staff remembers my order at this point & they are welcoming each time.
Best Bagels in town! We are traveling from Washington DC- the bagels here are crunchy, fluffy & v tasty! They are fresh & hot from the oven. We came back for more & took some for home too!
Best bagels in Montreal!! We have been going here for years ! The atmosphere & the customer service is over & above anything I've experienced. I would recommend it to anyone !!
22 March, 2024: Le Trou Bagel Shop was a decent Bagel Shop. I ordered a dozen bagels & a bagel deluxe sandwich. Best part(s): 1) Sandwich was really good it's a decent size & it's tasty. 2) Customer service was good & decent that day. 3) You can eat inside if you want. 4) They have sandwiches & bagels that you can eat & order. 5) The bagel was really good as well. Cons: 1) The Shop is the smallest I've ever been to. Not enough space to eat or relax. 2) It's pretty pricey for me but I don't mind since it's taste good. 3) Parking may be a challenge. 4) The location is pretty far in Griffintown. 5) The Shop has a weird entrance & share a building with another establishment. Other than that I would be back here again. Everything was good when I was there. Hope to try their different items in the near future. I would recommend this establishment.
