We originally stopped by for takeout poutine, & were immediately welcomed by the incredibly friendly host, Tommy. His positive energy & warmth made such an impression on us that we decided to return the next night for dinner-& we're so glad we did!
I had the tuna tartare appetizer, which was absolutely delicious, while my friends had the hamburger steak & the Beyond Burger. Everyone loved their meals, but what truly stood out was the vibe-fun, welcoming, & full of heart. The entire team of servers & staff created such a great atmosphere that made the experience memorable.
Bonus: it's the only place in the village where we found a great espresso martini!
I really enjoy this place I have been going for years.The signature burger is really good 👍🏻.But,yesterday I didn't have the appetite to finish my burger because it's also huge.Soo,I ask for a doggy bag,& the busboy uses his hands to pick up my food & then takes it away only to bring it back to me in a box…I Lost it in disgust!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬There was still a half of a 28 dollar burger left.Soo,beware of the busboy he obviously doesn't know what he's doing.

Super service comme toujours, on ne se sent pas stressé, & ce même à la fin du repas. Belle énergie entre les serveurs & ç la se ressent. Belle grosse musique d'ambiance, on aime ça ! C'était bien décoré pour la Fierté wow ! Seul petit point négatif est le choix très limité de bouffe... Ce n'est plus du tout l'ancien Saloon pour ceux qui l'ont connu. En gros... soit du tartare (demander + de croutons), des burgers ou une tranche de steak... Leur poutine manque toujours de sauce mais ne nous on pas chargé l'extra redemandé plus tard. Tu ne te déplace PAS pour aller manger au Saloon, non ...MAIS quand tu es dans le Village, c'est la place à aller 🙂
Ate here three times during our stay. Food is delicious & the drinks are as well. The wings & burgers are definitely a hit. My friend really enjoyed his penne pasta. Service is some of the most efficient we experienced with everything coming out in a very timely matter.
I come here for the experience of the good edm & house music ! The food here is definitely an upgrade from most bar restaurant foods, they have a nice kitchen team that prepares refreshing meals. I've tried burger saloon, soup du jour, calamari, house steak bavette, house salad, sweet potato fries, tzatziki bread, butter chicken 👍
J'ai hésiter à venir écrire mon avis ... car la note de 4 n'est pas vraiment représentative de mon expérience... la note idéal serais 4.9 sur 5 ... notre souper était fabuleux , l'ambiance parfaite, les serveur très agréable, le barman sexy à souhait hahahaha noter que je suis aller hier soir le vendredi 12 janvier 2024. Le repas est arriver rapidement & chaud le tous est plus que délicieux. La pu j'ai été un peu déçu c lorsque j'ai demander du pain. Il n'avais aucun pain à m'offrir ! La sauce de mon hamburger steak était si bonne je ne pouvais pas lecher mon assiette ! .... mon copain qui ne mange pas bcp ma laisser le pain de sont Burger. J'ai été un peu surpris qu'un restaurant d'un aussi bonne qualité n'offrait au moins un simple bout de baquette. Je le conseil à tout le monde & je vais y retourner mais la prochaine fois je vais savoir 😀

My chiken tenders were over fried & dry. The dipping sauce was a tiny amount nit enough for the tenders.
Their burgers were good .

Je suis allé avec mon copain ce soir. Sommes des clients quand-même habitués depuis près de 20 ans mais la qualité se dégrade & n'est plus au rendez-vous. Un burger au poulet croustillant, moi qui pensais avoir une belle escalope... Non ce fut deux croquettes de poulet l'une par dessus l'autre à peine de sauce & un vulgaire morceau de laitue. C'est vraiment honteux cette cuisine. Je veux bien croire qu'on manque de staff mais là le saloon faudra faire mieux car le plat & deux verres de vin 55$ ça fait dur. Dirty
How can 1 simple task go wrong after you specified VEGAN & asked all the right questions ( only vegans could understand dining with friends in non vegan restaurants) asked for the salad instead of fries. anyway, my overpriced "BEYOND MEAT". burger arrived with aioli sauce which was the only task I asked aside from salad instead of fries. I canceled the order, one of two waiters came & apologized (yes two , one soulless) said my drink would be free, whatever , my friend asked for one bill , they send over a new waiter with it , big smile friendly , engaging waiter with the other two stood at the bar,( make your own conclusions) lol , while my friend paid the bill, I looked over the details & there it was , charge for the burger. I used to go to "the Saloon " back in the 90s when they made the veggie burger themselves, never will go again ,

The staff is so warm & funny, they always know what they're doing, they make you feel at home. The food is great & generous & the music is loud but you just can't keep from dancing while eating your Cowboy Burger. Try the Saloon Beef tartare, it's heavenly. This restaurant is the perfect representation of the french community in Montreal. Juste du plaisir.
