On y va souvent & on y mange toujours très bien. Les cocktails Lucky Luke & Gay Bash étaient de belles découvertes lors de notre dernière visite. On y retournera c'est sûr!

My friend & I visited last weekend & ate here twice. The staff are friendly, bilingual, & efficient. The food is amazing & cocktails are innovative & delicious. We waited a few minutes for a table on the patio, only to have another couple of patrons scoop the table we were waiting for; the host seated us right away but when an even better table opened up right after we ordered, he moved us to it & offered us his apologies--we hadn't complained, but it was really nice to have been shown this consideration. I'm so glad this restaurant survived lockdown, & hopefully weekend brunch will eventually come back too!

J'y avais pris un verre en 5 à 7 l'an dernier, mais je n'y avais pas mangé depuis un moment. Hier soir, j'étais avec un ami qui avait envie d'ailes de poulet &... comme je ne m'y connais pas (c'est pas mon fort), j'ai voulu trouver un endroit qui aurait un peu de tout. Le Saloon était tout désigné. Mon ami adoré ses ailes & en plus, on a pris deux autres entrées (calmars frits & salade César) & chacun un cocktail (bloody Cesar délicieux pour lui - j'y ai goûté (hehe!) & Dinky Dyke pour moi). Nous nous sommes régalés & avons beaucoup apprécié le service de nos deux serveurs.

2024: tuna tartare wasn't interesting at all. The melon Redbull cocktail was fine for flavour but all ice. Attentive service. Fun decor, cool jazzy music on a Sunday evening. 2021: delivery. Tartares were great. Popcorn shrimp & calamari were nothing special. Gave the wrong dessert (it was still delicious). Gave me wrong side (fries instead of salad) & even though the menu asks which condiments you want, we didn't get any. & yes I confirmed with the bill.

Ordered a $13 cocktail this weekend for last call that required ginger beer. I watched the bar tender finish a bottle of an almost empty ginger beer (couple tablespoons left) & then saw him eyeball it, & then proceed to pour in what looked - & tasted - like soda water. Nothing like an overpriced watered down cocktail. I wished he would have just asked me if id take a different cocktail instead. Just a shame, it was a beautiful cocktail that tasted significantly diluted, & it was my first drink of the night so very hard not to notice. 3 stars because at least it had the alcohol in it.

Personnel accueillant & attentionné. Belle carte de cocktails originaux. La nourriture style bistro était bonne & chaude. Ambiance feutrée agréable. Première visite à la hauteur de nos attentes.

A local merchant recommended this place to David, our friends & myself & we are so glad we checked it out. The food, cocktails, atmosphere & service were exceptional. Simon our waiter was charming & only added to our dinning experience. It’s establishments like this that make Montreal’s Gay Village a destination worth visiting still.

We were very excited about this place, since we have had wonderful food on this trip.
We ordered an onion soup that was bland & tiny. The nachos were very good, delicious sauces & very good tortillas, but we got the extra chicken & it had literally three small pieces of chicken. Yes, literally, three small bites. Awful.
My cocktail was weak.
The vibe of the place is great, & their front terrace was very nice. The servers were very friendly & helpful, even if the food was very slow to arrive. Edit: our last course arrived 27 minutes after we finished the appetizers, which also were slow. We complained about their chicken & to their credit, they removed the extra chicken from the nachos on the check.
The salmon was bland, very little seasoning, the potatoes were also bland & they were stingy (3 small potatoes, really) with them. The veggies that came with the salmon were very good, tho.
It's really sad that a place with such a great potential ended up being such a disappointment. :(

Toujours satisfait du service reçu, rapide, sympathique & courtois.
Les repas & cocktails étaient en général excellents & savoureux, & la présentation était superbe. Mention spéciale au plat de nachos, qui avait l'apparence d'une sculpture ultra-colorée.
Merci pour une belle soirée & un bon repas.

Le service a été impeccable & la nourriture très bonne. Que dire du choix de cocktails, impressionnant. Toute l'équipe a été merveilleuse & très compréhensive face au retard d'une bonne partie du groupe. J'y retournerai avec plaisir!
