This is THE neighbourhood café. It's charming & quaint. The baristas are always chatty & welcoming, the coffee is great & so are the quiches.
Only downside would be the lack of seating. The place is always packed with people working from their computers for hours, & you can wait for a while to get a good spot.
This place should consider opening a computer-free table that a lot of cafés have recently adopted on Mount Royal ave.Voir plus

Best pastries in the plateau. Raspberry gougonne, tomato tart, quiche, & cheese croissant are unbelievable. Coffee's pretty good too. It's a small space, so you may have to get it pour emporter, but the neighborhood is cozy, with lots of little places to sitVoir plus

La meilleure quiche à la tomate en ville ! J'en raffole surtout dégustée au soleil ! Toutes les pâtisseries sont faites maison & ça se sent! & que dire de l'accueil toujours chaleureux! Wow. One of my new fav Montreal cafes. Absolutely top-tier croissant (buttery with fine bubble-like texture on the inside, crisp & flaky outside), yummy latte & the BEST BEST vibes.
A latte & croissant together was $6.30 which I really really appreciated.
Cute & colourful, lots of natural light. If you get a good seat, it’s a good place to study, but spots are tight.
Update: the quiche is AMAZING
