Dans l'ensemble, Le Rouge Gorge se distingue par une ambiance conviviale et chaleureuse, un service attentif et une carte des vins remarquable; les cocktails et les plats sont généralement bien reçus et le rapport qualité prix est apprécié, même si certaines assiettes semblent petites et que l'endroit peut devenir bruyant lorsque la salle est pleine; l'équipe est professionnelle et sympathique et sait guider les choix de vin, ce qui en fait une adresse fiable pour un dîner en tête-à-tête, une soirée entre amis ou une sortie détendue, avec de nombreuses expériences positives et un désir de revenir.
Great wine bar. No reservations but got good seat at the bar for early evening drinks. Very good wine selection & knowledgeable staff. Technically not dinner menu but portions are very big. Recommend!

We were served by Thomy. He was very careful & attentive. He prepared two types of wine for us, & it was really great with the food. I will definitely come back here.
Had the ceviche & fried chicken - both were delicious, though the portions felt more'sharing bites' than full meals. The ambiance was cozy & the wine list is seriously impressive. Service was solid, though not always consistent. A great spot for drinks + good eats, especially if you're up for a relaxed evening with style.
Nice spot for date or place to unwind with wine ! The speakeasy in the basement was closed due to holliday schedule , but i wouls definetely return , i enjoyed my cocktail & food was fresh .
Great date spot, great spot for trying different wines. Reasonably priced. Came here on suggestion by a local. It was super happening. There was a live DJ playing electronic music. It almost felt like you were in a european pub, just lively & so many people hanging out with friends etc. Their cocktail list was expansive & looked very good, but we came for the wines. We had a dessert of the molten chocolate cake which was very nice. The wines were also great. The service was a little hit or miss. There was a gentleman there that was fantastic, I didn't get his name, but really knowledgable & warm. Our direct server was not the greatest, she disappeared for long periods of time & didn't really help too well when we wanted recommendations. Overall a super cute spot, filled with locals.

Excellent wine selection & helpful servers! Lovely atmosphere as well! Tuna tartare was a bit disappointing but the cheese & charcuterie boards were lovely.
This is THE place in montreal to explore good wine, good cocktails, & more! The staff is so knowledgeable & the selection is beyond impressive. A must go spot in montreal!
This spot is an incredible hidden jam of Montreal : incredible food especially the Salomon ❤️ the liste of wine is insane & for all budgets & the atmosphere is electric! Just love it 😍
Another great place to grab a drink & this place was buzzing even on a Tuesday night. I had two drinks, the Buster Keaton, which was delicious & the Gianni Giuliano which was great & quite strong. There are a lot of cocktails to chose from so you will surely be able to find one you like. They are also know for their wine bar, & although I am not a wine drinker, this is great as it can cater to more people in your group. The food was good, but we only had a little snack, the figs. Service was great, as I noted it was full, so we sat at the bar but were given a table as soon as one was available. The place is also not too loud, as the music is kept at a reasonable level so you can talk to each other. Drinks are around $15, so pretty standard from my experience. If you eat also, it can get pricy, but I cannot comment on the food much.

Nice restaurant, great vibes, chill place to have a glass of wine or cocktail with friends! We are not wine connoisseurs, they offered for us try one with the description of what we said we liked in a wine! 1st fast was a charm! We sat at the bar, & the barman was adorable, super friendly! We also had the « fondue au chocolat » with passion fruit dessert! It was a big enough portion for 2! Yummy! Downstairs near the toilets, they have a more lively, club vibe, let's danse section! If you feel like shaking things up a little! *coat check was complimentary 🥰
This is my top tier date wine bar, & Rouge Gorge has for me, the best sommeliers in town. I love how dynamic & *fun* ordering a glass of wine is at this place. I have never felt bad about my vocabulary or wine background here, & am grateful for everything the staff have taught me. I recommend the popcorn shrimp, & I dream about their salad.
