We had a wonderful time here. It does seem like it's the sort of place you'd want a reservation for, so we were lucky to have a window. They've got a nice wine list written on the walls, & impeccable buratta. But this place really shines for its decor - the lighting is great & moody, the leather seats look divine, & I could spend ages looking at the elegant little trinkets along the shelves.
We were overcharged for a glass of wine & order of tea. When we let the server know, she said"oh, do you want a refund?" We did not bother - we were surprised by the question! Of course you give a refund. Music was REALLY loud, we asked several times to have the volume lowered.
Our first course arrived before we placed our wine order (though we asked to order it several times). A disorganized night overall. Food was great, as always.

We had a great experience at La Roseline! Ambiance was super cozy, the wine selection extensive & our server was very nice & gave us great advice. We will be back!
Unfortunately the price versus experience wasn't ideal. Paying over $300 for two, you'd expect great cocktails, food, service & ambiance. Ambiance & wine were fantastic, food was very subpar & service was stretched
We had a lovely girls night at Rosaline! Great food, nice wine & fantastic service from James! There was a great little jazz trio as well that we weren't expecting & they were super! Amazing place, we'll be back!
* english below - Cet endroit est apaisant & le décor est magnifique (on peut choisir tables ou grosses chaises confortables & tables basses plus intimes)! Le nouveau chef est tres talentueux & le propriétaire tres a l'écoute des clients. C'était une grosse soirée & nous avons essayé de nombreux plats. Tout était délicieux! Les moules sont un délice, l'agneau aussi. Le plateau de charcuterie & fromages accompagné d'une verre de vin est parfait à partager à l'apéro! Une belle sélection de vins.

This place is soothing & the decor is magnificent (you can choose tables or big comfortable chairs & coffee tables)! The new chef is very talented & the owner very attentive to customers. It was a big evening & we tried many dishes. Everything was delicious! The mussels were delicious, as was the lamb. The charcuterie & cheese platter accompanied by a glass of wine is perfect to share as an aperitif! A fine selection of wines.

Service is ok BUT for. Wine bar , our waiter did not know enough about them ( not a wine expert at all ).
Such a great decor in a place tucked away in a quiet side of saint Laurent street. This place makes you feel like you walked into another part of town. Great wine selection, beautiful tasty cocktails & delicious food. The size of food could be small depending on what you order but everything I have tried so far is tasty.

We tried a number of different items on the menu all of which were tasty although portions were quite small. We wanted to order wine by the bottle but the prices were outrageous & we're coming from New York City.

I came here for the first time for drinks & sharing plates after work with a friend. I've been wanting to try this wine bar for a long time. We adored our experience. The decor was warm & comfortable, with soft lighting (real candles), leather chairs, & the music wasn't too loud, so we could hear ourselves talking. The drinks & food were perfect, as was the service. Will definitely come back, & recommend this to all my friends.
Restaurant incontournable à Montréal. Décor, ambiance, musique, bouffe, vins, cocktails, service tout y est. Une perle de la scène montréalaise à soutenir pour assurer sa pérennité. Très haut niveau de professionalisme qui mène à une satisfaction élevée.
Montreal restaurant not to be missed. Decor, vibe, music, food, wines, drinks & service everything comes together in a perfect blend. Strongly recommended.
We loved the decor, ambiance, knowledgable & friendly staff, & the amazing wine list - & will definitely be back regularly. The food was 4/5, not exceptional, although this may have been partly a reflection of the dishes we chose. Hoping to rate 5* on our next visit!

I went for dinner with clients at Roseline. The place looks great, super nice vibe. The food was good. The problem has been the service all along. We went in wanting cocktails & champagne, while we were left with water glasses for 25 minutes without anyone coming to see us. By then we were hungry so we skipped the cocktails, & we had to chase the somellier for some wine advise. We also had to refill our wine glasses ourselves as the service wasn't done. Then the food came (including a soup without a spoon). Quality of the food was nice. We were never offered desserts, & after all the waiting deciding to leave. We had to again chase the waiter for the check, which I had to stand up for & look for him as my clients wanted to go.
