Review Summary

Le P'tit Rustik is widely regarded as a standout breakfast and brunch destination in Montreal, praised for its cozy, welcoming atmosphere and high-quality, homemade cuisine. Many visitors rave about the signature eggs Benedict, French toast, and potato fritters, noting that the portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh. While the restaurant does not accept reservations and often has a line, most patrons agree that the exceptional flavors and friendly service make the wait worthwhile. While a few guests have expressed frustration regarding long queues, occasional inconsistencies in service, or pricing for extra sides, the overwhelming consensus highlights a charming neighborhood gem that provides a memorable and delicious start to the day.

The place is very cozy & all the food was delicious!! There was a little bit of waiting time since we were a large group (6 people). The service was excellent, one of the bests.

I went there by myself & had a special menu from that day, I remember it was something seasonal that I ordered. The soup at the beginning was ok, the dessert felt like a reboot of a hospital meal's dessert, both texture & flavour. It wasn't bad, just tasted like cough syrup (cherry). The main dish was good (average good), just the fruit/salad portions felt below average in their size. This place was strongly recommended, so I felt like it didn't meet my expectations. Was it a bad experience? No! Did I pay less to eat better food somewhere else. Definitely. Would I go back? Maybe, depending on their menu, if something catch my eyes.

Mind-blowing brunch in Montreal! 🤯🔥 French toast 🍞🍓, eggs & smoked ham 🥚🥓 - absolutely insane! Gorgeous spot ✨🏡, service a bit leisurely 🐌 but charming & attentive. HIGHLY recommend! 💯🙌💖 If I could, I'd give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

I had the Chakchouka en Toast & it was one of the best plates of food I've ever had in my life. Truly a 10/10 dish. Very fresh deep flavour all around & crispy potatoes on the side to soak up the rest of the sauce.

I love shakshuka & I have to say this was one of the best. The shakshuka on toast was well worth the wait, & the wait for a table couldn't have been in a more beautiful shop. It's also in a great area with tons to walk around & explore after you grab breakfast.
