Fantastic restaurant with a fantastic staff & beyond fantastic food ❤?❤? We made reservations & were seated quickly & started off with a lot of pita & Fattooche salad which were amazingly great ❤?❤? We also had Moussaka, Sabanegh, Chicken Tarator, Chicken Taouck, & Chicken Rice & each bite was beyond a gourmet's delight 😇😇 Full compliments to the chef as we ordered the Chicken Tarator & the Chicken rice again ❤?❤? For dessert we had the Baklawa & Caramel Cream & it was heaven on earth ❤?❤? Cannot wait to come back & try other items on the menu of this incredible 11/10 venue with family & friends 😇😇 Just make sure you make reservations as it is incredibly popular🙏🙏
I'm Syrian so I'll be a bit picky in my review. Overall the place is excellent, especially for the price point (really good value). The hummus, moujadara, & Kabbab Kach-Kach were great. The muhamara was not good. The Sea Bass fish with arak was below expectations. The vine leaves were fantastic. The atmosphere & service were great. The place is authentic & fun & I would totally come again.
The food was good, but the service was disappointing. We ordered two appetizers & two main courses, the main courses arrived first & they forgot about our appetizers. We mentioned it so they served it afterwards, but we didn't want it anymore. Also, they never took our orders for drinks of the entire meal.
Perfect oasis after a stroll through the Jean Talon farmers market. Noshed on special recipe hummus, mujadara, tabouli, pitas, grilled shrimp & spicy fries. Brought back to life.
Trooop top.
On a fêté ma résidence permanente ici.
Our recent visit was disappointing, mainly due to the host's lack of accommodation. While we requested a terrace table, & one became available, we were denied the chance to move, even though other guests next to us asked another member of staff after & were easily relocated.
This left us feeling unfairly treated & just displayed the host's unpleasant behaviour.
Additionally, the food was underwhelming (the kefta was dry & was clearly just reheated & was cold in the middle) & the indoor ambiance was uncomfortable due to the heat- they have no AC. The decor is old & overused.
On the bright side, our server was very pleasant.
We hadn't been in a couple of years & it has clearly gone downhill. Very disappointing.
Had lunch at this casual Syrian restaurant near Jean Talon Market. Tried kebab & they were tasty. Combo with salad/rice available as an option. Good service & atmosphere also.
Excellent service & nourriture divine!
Menu dégustation fortement suggéré!
Had a great tasting menu there, even if they forgot a dietary restriction for the last service.
La Petit Alep was AMAZING & Alex impeccable!
Alex suggested taking a tasting tour in which we enjoyed their homemade pressed, sliced beef- better than prosciutto, muhummara, hummus, & fatoush. The filet mignon kabob was EXCELLENT! & the chicken kabob was excellent as well. We would've bought the beef sauce except we're going camping in a few days. The coconut pudding with ginger syrup & a jam was delish!
The sommelier have an excellent wine suggestion for the night as well.
My hubby who doesn't usually mention flavors specifically was getting descriptive himself. It was so good I had to close my eyes to fully enjoy & savor.
Alex was quite attentive, pleasant, welcoming, accommodating to us. His English was excellent
We had a horrible meal elsewhere although the restaurant was recommended to us. The meal was poor due to service taking 3 hours although we had two kids in tow, no flavor, overpaying for what we got. I feel like this meal redeemed our gastronomic experience in Montreal.
Excellent job Alex! Thanking God for this great find!
Amazing flavors meet great service at a good price point.
We really enjoyed everything here. Alex asked if we wanted him to just bring us food until we told him to stop, which was a great idea. The shish filet, the hummus, the sauces, it's all terrific. The salad dressing is the right blend of vinegar & mint. They add cumin in the proportion to knock your tongue backward.
Go.
Take out. Excellent Syrian food. Seriously good & the staff was so kind I wished I stayed there for dinner.
Nourriture extra!
