A few reviews mention occasional crowding or temperature challenges and a few slower moments, but the prevailing impression is of high quality French cuisine, generous portions, and a delightful, welcoming atmosphere that invites a repeat visit.

Very good restaurant located a block away from the busy area of Montreal. The food is really good when you consider the cost & the ambience is very cozy. The staff is also super nice & treated me very respectfully with a smile. You can bring your own wine & they don't charge corking fees which was a big plus. The only hassle was for parking but you can find it in the main street & it is free on the weekends starting 6pm. Expect to pay around $70-$80 after taxes & tips. This was a very nice experience & I will be back again during my next trip to Montreal.
Hello, The service is top notch. the server (girl) was very attentive & agreeable. On the other hand, I took the biche & the sauce was very greasy; the potatoes were mooshy & everything was wet by the greasy sauce, which was not appetizing. The biche was okay (it could have been a little more rosy & not as cooked). Last year the food was way better. I assume there is a new cook & he is not as talented as the former cook. Also, the beef profiteroles were burnt. I hope this helps improve the food.
Delicious meal & great service. I found sitting in the backyard tent a little cold as there were air leaks but other than that, the evening was very enjoyable. Would love it if they had delivery service as it's difficult for me to out during the winter time given my back issues.

Reservations recommended & be aware that the space is fairly small but cozy. Food was amazing & staff were friendly & helpful when our group didn't speak French.

Superb restaurant! Food is excellent, ambiance jovial, & you can see how the owner's wonderful personality & openness make the restaurant what it is! Thank you- Dana O.
The molten chocolate cake was luke-warm, not molten & generally uninspired. Everything else was excellent, from beginning to end & a great value as well. We will certainly be coming back.

Very cute little BYOB spot nestled in this residential neighborhood is a high quality french restaurant. Bring a nice bottle of wine because the quality of the ingredients were the bomb.
It starts off with a soup or salad
Followed by an entrée
You can opt for a palette cleanser where they made this apple/pear puré with a local brandy
Then we had an amazing boeuf bavette & short rib - the portion was huge
