Hidden in a residential area, is this gem of a restaurant. Small, crammed & loud which ironically all add to its charm. The food was exceptional, beautifully cooked & presented. Every bite was delicious from entre to dessert. The escargot with blue cheese was a symphony of flavor dancing in your mouth. Of course it's a bring your own wine which adds to its appeal. A reservation is a must & on busy nights expect to wait a few minutes until a table frees up.

Tout était délicieux, mais j'étais un peu déçue de la cuisson de l'agneau (trop cuit) alors que j'avais spécifiquement demandé au serveur que je le désirais bien saignant. Pour la bavette de bison, elle dépassait mes attentes & la cuisson était pafaitement saignante. Merci beaucoup!
Un très bon restaurant & sans prétention. Le service est un peu rapide entre chaque plat mais reste que j'ai eu une super expérience & j'ai hâte d'y retourner!

Mis à part, le décor peu présent & l'exiguïté des lieux, nous avons adoré ce resto français. La nourriture était parfaitement apprêtée, goûteuse & généreuse. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la mousse de foie, les entrées d'escargots & de boeuf, de même que les plats de Bavette de bison & de short rib. & pour conclure; tarte tatin & le mourir de chocolat. Extra !
Superbe souper avec un service impeccable. La serveuse Laurence toujours souriante & gentille, ainsi que tout le personnel efficace & sympathique

Absolutely amazing!!! Everything was spectacular. Tried many items on the menu (went with small group) & my favorites were the beef profiteroles & the foccaccia/fried bocconcini, the duck & bison, & the pear & white chocolate cake. but all so so good
I've been here 3x & counting still.... the spread that comes with the bread is to die for (so good that I had to buy some to take home)! Their soup is always so tasty & comforting

Un régal ! Acceuil très sympathique & une cuisine qui fait du bien. Félicitation au Chef cuisto ! Un ceviche qui fait voyager, un ribs de boeuf tellement tendre qu'il se coupe avec la fourchette & un mourir de chocolat exceptionnel 😍 on m'avait beaucoup parlé de se restaurant, maintenant je comprends pourquoi. A bientôt 😅
Un régal de l'entrée au dessert 👌! Nous étions plus de 15 personnes & nous avons tous été très bien servis. Les assiettes sont généreuses, très bien dressées modernes & surtout riches goût ! Chaque produit est mis en valeur, bien accompagné, les cuissons sont maîtrisées. Des alliances de textures & de saveurs délicieuses 🤗 Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Cependant, pour avoir fréquenté le Pégase par le passé, j'ai été déçue par le repas. Les plats arrivent trop rapidement, en une heure & quart, c'était plié.
Je préférais la formule table d'hôte: à trois plats plutôt que quatre, d'autant plus que l'entrée d'escargots n'était pas terrible: escargots trop secs, sauce au bleu compacte & trop salée, gros morceaux de carottes superflus.
Nous avons eu l'impression que tout était fait d'avance & réchauffé alors qu'auparavant, les plats étaient vraiment faits à la minute.
Quand à l'éclairage de la salle, il gagnerait à être plus tamisé.
Sans doute suis-je tombée sur une mauvaise journée.
The food was exceptional. The only thing that could help improve the experience would have been someone attending to take our coats & bags. Honestly, some of the best food in Montreal. Thank you very much 🙏

Everything is great as usual, excellent food, friendly services, definitely come back (& already, not our first time). The only suggestion i would give is put more efforts on time control between two round services - we were at the 2nd round & when we arrived (on time) most tables were not even paying the bills. Waiting 5-10 minutes is understandable for sure but longer than that it starts to be less appealing.
