Visited from Toronto.
Overall experience was great! Great ambience, food options & matcha latte! Good time to spend on a date, or to meet with friends for brunch. Only complaint was the service.View more
This is hands down the best brunch I've ever had… anywhere… in the whole world! This is my third visit to Le Passé Compose & I'm not exaggerating when I say I was almost brought to tears by how delicious this is… even better than I remember it from my last visit 8 years ago… yes you heard me, I've been dreaming of this brunch for 8 years!View more
Ambiance conviviale & engagement envers l'expérience client.
View more
The food & menu have shrunk like the inflation since the move. Higher prices, less food. This isn't the passe composé we once used to know, they should rebrand. Also whatsup with the Indian twist, it needs to be brought back the way it was or change the name. Lastly, the drinks entirely lost their quality. Step up guys, new isn't always better.View more
I started going to Passé Composé when it was an unpretentious place in the Plateau. Plates were generous, originals, tasty & affordable. When they moved in the Village, it became a mix between their first version & something more arrogant. I still remained a loyal customer. But over time, every tasty & affordable dish on their menu disappeared to be replaced with expensive & fancy options. It's still an okay place to eat & the food is good, but it has lost its charm for me. Overpriced for what it is.View more
Definitely pricey but I assure you it's worth it. The duck confit eggs Benedict & French toast are amazing!!View more
Recommended to me by William, bartender over at The Keg steakhouse (another must visit), Le Passé Composé was absolutely fantastic. Pictured is their'Authentic Grilled Cheese' which was sweet, savory, decadent & oh so good!
Our server was wonderful, was able to answer all of our questions & made some great drinks as well!
Highly recommend you give this place a try if you really want a delicious & luxurious brunch!

2025: new location: the lamb sandwich was delicious. Great portions. The side soup was a nice blend of squash sweet potato & coconut. My'green' cocktail was smooth. Pleasant service. Nice decor.
2023: old location: The forest grilled cheese was perfect & very filling. The side of panko French toast & the side salad were pretty good too. My friend enjoyed her smoked salmon bagel. The ananerable was a great cocktail. The pastis lemonade unfortunately was overpowered by the pastis. Friendly service. Decent decor.View more
Excellent brunch de qualité, raffiné & copieuxView more
Very nice restaurant. Bright, clean & comfortable environment.
We got seated on a nice table but being in the corner means it's a little harder to get service at first. The waitress was very attentive after introducing herself.
The atmosphere was very nice, no complaint at all.
Food wise, the foie gras toast was amazing! The bone marrow was alright, nothing too special. The fresh juice was nice.
Will go again but probably try other dishes & maybe go for dinner next time.
Definitely a place you need to make reservations early.View more
Worth walking through a blizzard for, we were quickly seated upon arrival & the hearty poached eggs brunch warmed us right up.

View more
Revamped restaurant! The one in the village was always my favorite. This one is nice, they kept most of the menu, but the essence of being rustic & homey is gone. It's more fancy. The vibe is too chic. The service was good! The food, as always, beyond delicious with beautiful presentation.View more
Well, overall, it is not too bad. Only two things:
1. I feel their cooking process probably started from raising geese after received my order of foie gras🤣🤣🤣
2. IDK if it is normal, but the fries looked & tasted like overcooked, even after I asked them to make a new one (the picture shows the second one; the first one looked like charcoal)🤣🤣🤣🤣View more
literally the best service vibes & food 100% recommend for when you want to treat yourselfView more
View more
