We have been weekly clients for 21 years but after the sale of the patisserie the quality of products declined slowly & surely.First the brioches had a new recipe,after that the croissants were much smaller & less crispy or not fresh in the morning (very chewy) but we kept on going for the cakes.Now even the cakes are frozen maybe because the sales are not like before & whatever they are not selling,they have to freeze.In the Outremont newspaper, a letter from the new owners was published saying that all the recipes will be maintained-but it was not true.Why a business so perfect built by M.Laurent was destroyed ,I don't understand but with great regret we have to find another place & it's not so difficult in our area.

Very bad experience- we bought today a raspberry charlotte that was completely frozen.Bad croissants, not like before!!

J'apprécie cette ambiance cosy, jazzy & conviviale avec les habitués. J'aime le café/ croissant, le feuilleté saumon & poire/roquefort & les gateaux à la pistache cocolat ou framboise...

Ever since they sold few years ago to the new owner, the quality has never been the same. They stopped making many items & lots of items are out of stock early on in the day. Quality is the biggest problem the patisserie are not made as well as before. Before it was the best patisserie in Montréal, now i wouldn't recommend it. They won the 2nd best croissant in Montréal many years ago, but today its not even top 20 in the city.

THE best croissants & chocolatines in Montreal, without question. None of the enormous monstrosities you see elsewhere. My go to for all kinds of cakes, too.
