Dieser Ort ist für Zöliakiebetroffene ein Paradies (insbesondere wenn man aus Deutschland kommt). Von außen ist nicht gleich erkennbar, dass wirklich alles gluten-free ist. Andere Symbole sind an der Scheibe präsent, nicht aber die durchgestrichene Ähre. Während unserer vier Tage in Montreal sind wir hier täglich gewesen - mal zum Frühstück mal zum Mittagessen oder fürs Take away. Wir waren einfach so happy u zufrieden, dass wir nichts anderes ausprobiert haben - abgesehen vom Abendessen. Auch die Normalesser, waren von dem Angebot sehr angetan/überzeugt. Das Team ist geduldig u freundlich. Dem Koch kann man bei der Zubereitung der Crêpe zusehen. Alles was wir probiert haben, das war nicht gerade wenig, hat sehr gut geschmeckt - egal ob süß oder deftig - take away oder vor Ort. Die Preise, sind für das, was man bekommt, durchaus vertretbar. Wir können diese Gastronomie nur weiterempfehlen.View more

While visiting Montreal recently, we came across Le Marquis purely by accident. Everything here is gluten free! They have the best GF croissants I've ever had, I even bought a bag of frozen ones to take home. One day we ordered croissant sandwiches, which were delicious. Another day, we ordered crepes - they have sweet & savory ones - & they were very good. They also have a large selection of other pastries which looked delicious, but we weren't visiting long enough to sample them all 😩. They also serve espresso drinks, which were quite good.View more

This bakery is a gluten-sensitive persons wet dream. The croissants & baked goods were phenomenal. The entire menu is gluten free. We loved this bakery so much, we went twice during our two day visit. The crepes were also delicious & the service was fast & friendly.View more

Great food in vieux Porte, old Montreal. Just be careful when they're ringing up your order. They're not very comfortable with the machine & the prior order did not wipe out before they started ours. It wasn't quite clear whether they'd wiped it out, & when they asked for our card, I asked the total. It was clearly too high at cad 49+ (1 each sandwich, empanada, & chocolate croissant). So I asked, the guy said oh it's taxes, here's what I have as your order. & he read out exactly what we ordered. But the receipt showed that he had also charged us for something else. He apologized profusely, but.... Specially when I called it out before giving our card, he should have looked closer.View more

I was so happy to find a gluten-free bakery in Old Montreal & was craving a gluten-free croissant. The employees were very helpful & friendly, all of the baked goods & crepes looked wonderful, & the whole place felt clean & had good seating. The drawback for me was that the 3 types of croissants we tried were very dry, even after they were warmed up. Maybe that's to be expected for a croissant that is both gluten-free & dairy-free? Or maybe it was because we were there in the afternoon instead of the morning, & the croissants had been sitting too long? Either way, I was sad about the texture & flavor. It wasn't nearly as good as the gluten-free (but with butter) croissants I buy from my local gluten-free bakery.View more

Un endroit 100% sans gluten parfait pour une personne coeliaque comme moi L'emplacement est situé tout prêt du vieux-port de Montréal C'est l'fun de pouvoir manger sans se demander si il va y avoir de la contamination croisée Pour le moment nous ne pouvons pas manger sur place mais il y a une multitude d'endroit à proximité où l'on peut aller s'assoir pour déguster Les thés avec bulles de saveurs est réellement un incontournable surtout par temps chaud L'employé sur place lors de notre passage était vraiment mais vraiment sympathiqueView more
