When I tell you this is THE BEST crepe I've had!
I got a dark chocolate banana & almond crepe ( 15,95$ CANADIAN ) They don't disappoint when it comes to the portion of banana & almonds as you can see ! The staff was SO friendly asked how the food was & helped me choose & were patient with me because let me tell you it will take a moment to decide what you want because it all looks amazing !! I found out about this place while searching for a gluten free bakery & it's also dairy free ( heaven for a lactose & gluten intolerant or if you just don't want to consume that ) I also had a Almond cappuccino & the mug was GIANT ( LOVE THAT ) 3,95$ Canadian + 75 cents for almond milk. The prices were totally fair for what you get I will TOTALLY come again. A family next to me had the almond crossaint & they said it was amazing as well 🥐☕?🍫View more

We came here today for coffee & pastries. Nothing was bad, however the chocolate almond croissant was very doughy & a bit undercooked, in my opinion. The almond filling was a bit more like a cake texture. Service was good & the place was nice.View more

This 100% gluten free bakery is amazing! I visited every day while in Montreal. Their quiches are the best I've ever had. I tried the chicken quiche & the spinach quiche. Both are great, but I would have to say the chicken was my favorite. In terms of croissants, I tried the regular croissant, almond croissant, & chocolate almond croissant. All of them are very good. My favorite is the almond one. Frozen croissants are also available to be taken home. The crepes are also delicious. In terms of pastries, I tried the lemon tart & pear/pistachio tart. Both are delicious, but I highly highly recommend you try the pear one!View more

Their americano was nice. But almond crossiant was disappointing for a patisserie with such a high overall review score & for Quebec standards. I can't say the waitress was rude but she was surly & & service was not good. Desserts & pastries looked nice but I didn't try them.View more

My wife is celiac ... & this gluten free pastry shop is a place of dreams for her! We tried the almond croissant (her favorite), lemon tart (delicious), chocolate croissant (unbelievably flaky) & an egg-spinach-cheese crepe. All were amazing! The staff were friendly & helpful/patient as we contemplated the many options (if you are GF, you typically have few options if any in a pastry shop). If you are celiac/GF, this place alone is worth planning a trip to visit Montréal!View more

Drove 6 ½ hours to try the food here & it did not disappoint! As a Celiac & ex baker, I was blown away by the selection, price & quality of everything. It was so hard not to try one of everything! Guess a return visit is in order to do just that 😊 Server & chef were lovely, welcoming, helpful, there was space to eat & the Cafe was very clean. My non-gf family ate here as well & loved everything. We ordered: crepe special of the day (turkey & cheese), turkey & cheese croissant, almond croissant & some other pastries. If I could give more stars, I would. In summary, this is a GREAT place for everyone to eat, but for people who are celiac or on a strict GF diet, it's heaven on earth!View more

I'm gf & this place was amazing! Croissant with egg & cheese was made fresh as I have an allergy to ham so couldn't have the premade ones. The almond croissant was TO DIE FOR! My mum who isn't gf loved it. I'm going back tomorrow for more! Highly recommend. Staff were knowledgeable about gf & speak both English & French.View more

Good location, cute setting, unfortunately it is an up hill battle to master gluten free baking. The pastries were dense & heavy. I do recommend the almond chocolatine over the regular. The coffee was great. The price was steep-ish but standard for the area.View more

Are you also newer to gluten free? Did you also have decades of enjoying bread & pastries & cookies & cakes with lashings of gluten until one day your stomach turned & you've been wandering in gluten free sad land ever since? Have you tried every gluten free bakery in a 2 hour radius of your home & found a few that are "pretty good" or "nearly the same?" Then this place is the Holy Grail you've been searching for. My friends, I just ate an almond croissant that was moist, chewy, flaky, buttery, & had that lovely stretch that gluten usually gives. It was the first real tasting pastry I have had in 5 years & if I lived less than 6 hours' drive from this bakery, I would be here every single day. This place NAILS IT.View more

I have been following a GF diet since a while. It has been very challenging to find good sweets & pastries that are GF & at good prices not super high. I went yesterday to Le Marquis & I tried a cold sandwich "Le Classique" & it was so good. Also, I tried a dark chocolate sweet (can't recall its name). I tried the almond croissant & I bought some Madeline cookies (did not try it yet but I know that they are so good. They have many options that are GF & celiac safe. They have hot & cold drinks. The two guys who work there were so kind & attentive. They also have frozen ready pastries that you can buy & bake at home. The location of the place is very strategic that you can enjoy some sweets & pastries & then have a great walk on the streets of the beautiful old port ❤️ Go & give it a try❤️View more

We found this great gluten free pastry shop/cafe on the first day of our trip to Montreal. You could see how passionate the chef is about his craft as he made our crepe (spinach, egg, & cheese special). We also had the waffle with egg & avocado & an almond croissant. It's hard to believe it is all GF. It had a great texture. The lattes were excellent as well! Even if you're not gluten free, it is worth the stop.View more

Special bakery with WONDERFUL service! As someone who is gluten free, I was so excited to try this place, & I definitely was not disappointed! The worker was so kind, offering great suggestions, & made me feel welcome. Tried the chocolate almond croissant, plain croissant, & pistachio almond eclair-all amazing! A great place for people who are not gluten free, too! :)View more

Amazing gluten free croissants that are BIG & flakey. Plain, chocolate, almond chocolate. Also empanadas (tasty!), wrap sandwiches (didn't try), pizza (excellent & filling). We went to both locations, liked this one for its convenience to old town & hotels. Went 3 times in 4 days, never got tired of it! & a very nice young man enthusiastically helped us.View more

The chocolate almond croissant was the best I've ever had... & that's including regular gluten-filled ones.
Both times we went, the staff was super kind, patient & informative. We felt more like friends than customers.
But seriously, that croissant was so good.View more

I’ve been gluten free for over 15 years & this bakery brought me so much happiness! I truly miss baked goods. GF normally is just not as good as the “real” thing. But honestly, this place is way better than any bakery goods I’ve ever had(& I basically explore the world for a living)
I was lucky enough to have an almond, chocolate croissant right out of the oven. It was superb!View more

I am visiting Montreal for a friend's bday, but I had to sneak away to try a gluten-free almond croissant. (What? Yes!) I remember "real" almond croissants, one of my favorite special treats before I was diagnosed with an allergy to wheat. & this almond croissant was just as good. A little less sweet than the marzipan-filled sugar bombs I used to get from the glutinous bakeries, but that is for the better.

I highly recommend putting this bakery on your must-visit list if you are Celiac or have an allergy to wheat.

Many items are also dairy-free, I believe. Check their site.View more
