We went here 3 times during our recent visit to Montreal & were never disappointed. The coffee & chocolatine/croissants were delicious. & the crepe was amazing! Hard to believe its all gluten free. Super friendly staff too.View more

We came here today for coffee & pastries. Nothing was bad, however the chocolate almond croissant was very doughy & a bit undercooked, in my opinion. The almond filling was a bit more like a cake texture. Service was good & the place was nice.View more

Wonderful to find such a selection of baked gluten free food in old Montreal. The croissant sandwiches are delicious & the crepe stuffed with egg cheese & spinach was a wonderful breakfast.
I stocked up on croissants to take home & the best is they will ship!

Highly recommend this excellent GF bakery! My daughter & I were visiting from the U.S. & tried a bunch of items. We haven't had such delicious croissants since we were diagnosed with Celiac-the taste & texture were amazing. We brought a bunch of the half-baked croissants home with us & they were just as good. Not just the food (which was the best I've tasted in 20+ years with my Celiac diagnosis!), but the people who served it .. Everything about our experience at Le Marquis Signature Santé was delicious. We felt welcomed &, then, welcomed back when we returned for a second meal. Absolutely delicious food as well as kind & attentive service. I have celiac & have not had a real croissant in easily 20 years. I honestly wanted to cry tasting my breakfast here. The croissant was perfect. We also tried the pain au chocolat & amandine, equally delicious, as well as a caramel crêpe. My gluten-eating spouse confirmed that these are indistinguishable from the gluten version.
The service was pleasantly unhurried; the gentleman who served us took the time to take us through all the offerings & make recommendations. My fellow celiacs will understand when I say this was the highlight for me of a wonderful trip to Montreal. This is a must-visit for anyone who eats gluten-free.View more

This place has the best pistachio eclaire ever! It's amazing that it's all gluten free. I wish I could eat hear all the time, but I live out of town so I got some of the take home croissants from the freezer. They were SO good.View more

Incredible!! So delicious! & tons of options. My celiac daughter asked if we could move to Canada just so we could visit her often. We ate Sandwiches, croissants, pastries, & crepes. The Owner & Chef was very knowledgeable. I have a dairy allergy & he had dairy free cheese & chocolate options for the crepes. Also many of the pastries were dairy free. We ended up buying frozen croissants to have later & bought extra sandwiches to go. The Chef said it took him three months to perfect his crepes until he was happy. & it shows they were the best we have ever had. This is a MUST visit!View more

Après avoir essayé plusieurs versions de croissants sans gluten, je peux dire que les vôtres sont les meilleurs & se rapprochent le plus de la version traditionnelle avec gluten. Un véritable délice ! J'ai également goûté le mille-feuille, qui était très bon. L'ambiance est calme & accueillante, & dès l'entrée, on est enveloppé par le parfum appétissant des crêpes qui ajoute une touche chaleureuse à l'expérience.View more

Nous habitons en Nouvelle-Écosse & sommes venus à Montréal en visite. Notre fils de 11 ans a la maladie coeliaque & avons recherché des marchands de produits sans gluten en ville. La boulangerie Le Marquis dans le Vieux Montréal nous a enchanté par son accueil & ses produits SG de très haute qualité! La crêpe au chocolat préparée par monsieur le boulanger devant notre fils & en interaction très amicale avec lui a été une expérience merveilleuse, & délicieuse! Nous sommes repartis avec des chocolatines, tartelettes, mille-feuilles, etc. & un large sourire! Un croissant dégusté le lendemain après quelques minutes au four a aussi été un beau moment "feuilleté" rehaussé d'un "thumbs-up" sans équivoque. This is the first dedicated gluten free bakery that I have come across since being diagnosed with celiac disease. I am also lactose intolerant & they also had vegan cheese! This 100% gluten free bakery is amazing! I visited every day while in Montreal. Their quiches are the best I've ever had. I tried the chicken quiche & the spinach quiche. Both are great, but I would have to say the chicken was my favorite. In terms of croissants, I tried the regular croissant, almond croissant, & chocolate almond croissant. All of them are very good. My favorite is the almond one. Frozen croissants are also available to be taken home. The crepes are also delicious. In terms of pastries, I tried the lemon tart & pear/pistachio tart. Both are delicious, but I highly highly recommend you try the pear one!View more

J'ai mangé un croissant style déjeuner sans produits laitiers ni gluten tout à fait délicieux, ainsi qu'une excellente tartelette choco-noisette & un café latté. Un peu dispendieux, mais sans aucun regret vu le seul fait de pouvoir manger en toute sécurité des produits de qualité. De plus, le service à la clientèle était plus qu'impeccable. Absolutely delicious sandwiches, pastries & quiches & ALL 100% gluten-free! The croissants (which are used in the sandwiches) are super tasty & very flaky. You would never know they are GF.
