I went to Manner's for the first time for my birthday with about 30 people. From my first inquiry, Gabriel went above & beyond to curate the experience. He was very attentive to details & was happy to accommodate allergies in our group. At the restaurant, we had our own section which enhanced the experience. Gabriel had created a custom menu (which was kept a surprise until the day of) for our group with a budget of $75 per person. The amount of food we received for this price was amazing! All of the food was incredible & I had guests coming up to me all night complimenting the food & choice of restaurant. The scallop plate included popping boba which was so unique & delicious. From seafood dishes to lamb chops to salads & sides, every single dish was a 10/10, which I feel is pretty rare in group settings at restaurants. The tuna, feta salad, fries, & kopanisti were among some of my favourites. The drinks were also fantastic! Overall, the restaurant is on the smaller side which brings a nice, intimate feel. The decor & music give an elevated aesthetic. Manners definitely fills a need in Laval, bringing the Old Port/downtown experience & vibe to the north shore. After dinner, many of us stayed until 2 am to dance & have a few more drinks, if you like house music you would love it! It was definitely a memorable birthday, & the Manners team made it amazing in every aspect! Highly recommend!

Super soirée, la nourriture était exceptionnelle! Crudo de thon, crudo de pétoncles, salade de fêta, pieuvre à l'espagnole, chou-fleur rôtie, côtelette d'agneau, gnocchis à la ricotta, crevettes aux piments d'Espelette. WoW les saveurs, incroyable!! Les cocktails délicieux. Une salle avec de l'ambiance bien dosé, capable de s'entendre parler sans crier, chaleureux mais chic à la fois. J'ai adorée mon expérience & j'ai tout autant adorée le service. Je recommande sans aucune réserve & j'y retournerai sans aucun doute.
Nous avons passé une soirée absolument incroyable au Manners. Gabriel, le propriétaire, s'est personnellement occupé de notre table & le service était tout simplement impeccable. C'est un véritable passionné, & il a su nous transmettre son amour pour son établissement & sa cuisine tout au long de la soirée.
La nourriture était excellente, chaque plat était savoureux & parfaitement exécuté. L'ambiance était décontracté, musique était excellente!
Meilleur spot pour un bon verre, de la bonne bouffe, mais surtout, une bonne date. Ma blonde & moi recommandons cette place à tous les humains qui souhaitent passé une belle soirée. S/O à Gab le owner qui vous fera sentir à la maison!
Bonne bouffe, ambience de feu & les meilleurs cocktails que j'ai bu depuis longtemps. Meilleur service ever (s/o à Gab qui nous a arrangé une table à l'improviste). Je recommande fortement !!!

Le proprio est d'une gentillesse incroyable & ça se ressent dans l'ambiance du resto. On y mange très bien, avec une sélection de vins d'importation qui complète parfaitement les plats. Une belle découverte que je recommande volontiers.
Un restaurants qui sais ce démarquer de toute les autres par ça cuisine son inspiration Méditerranéenne innovative cuisinant par respect avec des produits locaux le plus souvent. Je recommande la pieuvre, le Crudo de thon, les crevettes avec un side de pain pita pour la délicieuse sauce! Le personnel est courtois & attentif au moindre details. On ce sent littéralement comme a la maison quand on vient manger. La musique & l'ambiance détendue & à la fois convivial. Je recommande fortement d'aller l'essayer, situé au coeur du centropolis. Également le jeudi & vendredi, il sont ouvert pour le lunch. Une ambiance paisible & décontractée pour un simple dinner entre amis & ou un entre deux de lunch de bureau rapide. Attention, une fois aller ça devient une addiction 🙂
This restaurant has a 4.9 rating & tonight, I saw why! The food was absolutely amazing, Tuna Crudo & Oysters were the freshest I've ever had. All the food we ordered was impeccable. I can easily say this is the best restaurant in Centropolis! The service was fantastic also, every single person working stopped by & asked our table how we were enjoying things. Very attentive! I highly recommend!!
Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Manner & do not recommend this place. I had heard about negative experiences from friends but decided to give it a try anyway, as I had made a reservation on December 23 for January 17 to celebrate my birthday. When booking, I specifically selected the dining room since we were a party of six.
Upon arrival, we were seated at the bar in a straight line. I asked if it was possible to be moved to a table, as sitting at the bar is not ideal for a group of six, especially for a birthday celebration. I was told this wasn't possible & that our table had been given to another reservation, which is why we were placed at the bar.
I explained that had I known we would be seated at the bar, I would have canceled the reservation & chosen another restaurant. A director then informed us that the system had allowed our reservation even though the restaurant was already full. This was surprising, as the reservation had been made three weeks in advance.
I respectfully asked why seating a party of six at the bar was considered an acceptable solution & mentioned that a call in advance would have allowed me to make other arrangements. Ultimately, I was told there was nothing that could be done, aside from offering us a corner section of the bar so we could be closer together. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying & decided to leave.
A call to inform me that our table for six had been moved to the bar would have avoided much of this negative experience & miscommunication. Additionally, the explanations we received from different staff members were inconsistent, which led me to believe that our reservation may have been moved to accommodate other guests.

Manners is the best restaurant we've been to so far. The service is absolutely amazing, & I can't even describe how good the food is - it's outstanding. The owner, Simon, is incredible & truly goes above & beyond to make sure you have everything you need. He makes sure you're always comfortable & well taken care of. Highly recommend!Thank youuu!
