Le Smash Burger Classic est délicieux & bien saucé ! Il est parmi les meilleurs que j'ai mangés ! Les frites épicées sont aussi excellentes ! Je recommande à tous !

Franchement déçue. Smash Burger est très overrated sur les réseaux sociaux. , c'était trop salé, & la qualité ne justifie pas la réputation. Je ne recommande pas.
First visit & it did not disappoint. Friendly staff who answered all my questions & the food was amazing. The burgers were juicy, light & full of flavor & the fries were just as good. Highly recommend checking out their specials. I had the candied jalapeno ranch smash burger & it was incredible.
Tried the ube blondie for dessert & it was phenomenal.
Loved the nostalgic 90s-2000s vibe with alt rock/punk pop music playing, it made the whole experience fun & comforting.
Also appreciated that they offer gloves to wear while eating. As someone with sensory sensitivities, that's a 5 star touch for me.

Serves a great classic smash burger that just hits the spot when you have that craving! If you're looking for a halal smash burger, this is also the place. Its a great spot for a no frills spot on comfort food. Quick & kind service.
Its a small hole in the wall type of place but decorated with personality, drawings of classic anime characters, pop figurines, comic posters, & a few board games. Really just fun!

Mon mari & moi avons décidé d'essayer & nous avons été complètement impressionnés. Nous avons commandé le Rookie, le burger smash au fromage (boeuf), des frites épicées ainsi qu'une poutine & tout était absolument délicieux.
Les burgers étaient savoureux, juteux & parfaitement équilibrés. On sent vraiment la qualité des ingrédients à chaque bouchée. Les portions sont très généreuses, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus satisfaisante.
Les frites épicées étaient parfaitement assaisonnées avec juste ce qu'il faut de piquant, & la poutine était riche & réconfortante, exactement comme on l'aime.
& les ailes de poulet… wow! Bien croustillantes à l'extérieur, tendres à l'intérieur, un vrai délice!
Tout était frais & préparé avec soin, & nous avons savouré chaque bouchée du début à la fin.
Le personnel était super accueillant & chaleureux, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable. L'endroit était plein à notre arrivée & franchement, ça en dit long sur la qualité!
La cerise sur le gâteau? C'est halal, ce qui rend le tout encore meilleur!
C'est certain que nous allons revenir très bientôt pour découvrir le reste du menu. Je recommande fortement cet endroit à tous les amateurs de bons burgers!

Burger normal c est de loin de gouter un vrai smash... tu lui offre 15% de pourboire & tu demande une ptite sauce il te charge 1.15$ loooll sérieux tu me.vend des frite mais tu me charge la sauce .
Le Rookie is so good. Cream cheese & hot honey is an incredible mix of flavors that blend so well together. +2$ for extra patty (very reasonable price). Cheesy fries were really good too. All around fantastic burger experience. Definitely recommend for all burger lovers.
Service was super friendly. Atmosphere in the restaurant is great with nice decor & games available to play too.

Hands down best smash burger & chicken sandwich spot in montreal. Chef is an absolute assassin in the kitchen, I casually walked in & ordered 1 smash & 1 chicken, I was so shocked I got up & asked for another burger & the guy suggested the smash with honey & jalapenos/cream cheese, unforgettable. Chef knows how to make a proper skirt for a smash burger, thin crispy perfection. Only sad part about my experience was not having enough room to try more things. Highly recommended, absolute gem for montreal.
A Five-Star Masterpiece of Culinary Aggression
Oh, please-strap yourselves in. If you're tired of'edible' food &'reasonable' textures, you simply must visit Le Jus on Monkland. I'd give it five stars, but honestly, five stars feels like an insult to the sheer, unbridled local heroism happening in this tiny room.
Here is why you need to drop everything & support these'good local people' before they accidentally fix the economy entirely:
The'Smash' in Smashburger
We started with the classic hamburger. It's a'smashburger,' & they really took the name to heart. Most places just sear the meat; these visionaries apparently pulverized it into a state of crispy, lacy defiance.
The Bun: Suspiciously soft. Like a cloud that's given up on life.
The Cheese:'Delicious' in that way that makes you wonder why you ever bothered with fancy imports when you could have this molten yellow joy.
The Fries: Let's talk about the oil. It was so fresh I suspect they pressed the olives (or canola, or whatever magical elixir they use) right behind the counter while staring me in the eyes. Lightly spiced, crispy, &-thank the heavens-not frozen. Because nothing says'I'm a culinary elite' like identifying a potato that hasn't seen the inside of a freezer.
The Weaponized Chicken Sandwich
But the pièce de résistance? The Fried Chicken Sandwich. This isn't a meal; it's a structural integrity test for your jaw.
'I have to tell you, it was the best fried chicken sandwich I've had in Canada. It was so crispy that I remarked to my son that I'm afraid I'm going to break a tooth.'
Finally! A restaurant that offers the thrill of a high-stakes dental emergency with every bite. If you aren't risking a $2,000 crown for a spicy honey glaze, are you even eating? The combination of that glaze & the jalapenos provides a lovely distraction while you pray your molars hold up against the sheer, tectonic crunch of that breading.
Why You Must Go
Support them. Not because the food is good (which it is, in a terrifyingly crunchy way), but because they are'local.' & as we all know, local calories don't count, & local grease is basically a charitable donation to the neighborhood.
Go to Le Jus. Bring your son. Bring your dental insurance card. It's a riot.
It's hands-down the best Smash Burger on this side of town. I had The Rookie, & it was a work of art. Seems like a busy little spot, but I arrived at 6pm on a Thursday night & was still able to have'date night' vibes with a friend that gave us plenty of time to eat & get in a good visit/chat. May have been a bit too crowded for that if we'd have gone at 7pm. I will be going back to try the chicken sandwich soon. The anime decore was unique & a welcome addition to NDG.
Going in, there's a few place to sit & seems to invite you to chill with board games available. You're welcome by a small counter to order where the staff is friendly & will just openly chat with you.
The service is quick as you'd expect with flavorful food. The smashburger is well executed letting the beef shine in all of its crispy edge glory! The price is decent too. Not to take away from the star, but the fries are amazing & for me, were the highlight.
If you're in the neighborhood & craving for a burger, you can't go wrong here.

I ordered via Uber Eats, this is one of the best smash burgers in town. So tasty, big portion, it will definitely be a repeat for me. My photo may not do it justice but that's the classic burger.
Excellent smash burger, parmi mes préférés de l'île ! La viande est bien grillée & croustillante, le fromage fond divinement bien dessus. Les frites épicées sont superbes. Je ne manquerai pas d'y retourner pour goûter les cheesy fries & le burger au poulet.
Petit restaurant qui n'a pas l'air de grand chose mais WOW, la nourriture est INCROYABLE. De loin le meilleur burger de poulet frit que j'ai mangé (celui au miel) & un de meilleurs smash burgers que j'ai mangés. La viande est goûteuse, juteuse & parfaitement cuite. Grilled cheese, aussi simple qu'il soit (fromage, oignons caramélisés & beaucoup de beurre) est délicieux. Les portions sont très généreuses & les portions hyper abordables. Ils ont aussi un burger du mois avec une saveur vraiment originale à chaque fois. Ça vaut VRAIMENT la visite.
The Smash burgers are really good. I would definitely recommend, they also have student discount combo, which is great for students & is also less expensive than a single Smashburger. It is really cold inside so I would recommend taking out.
