I always thought this would be exactly the type of burger I'd love because I usually enjoy a smashed style patty, but this changed my mind a bit. When the patty is smashed this thin, it starts to feel more like eating burnt crackers than a burger. The bun was also a little too dense for such a thin patty, even though I ordered double patties.

I'd honestly recommend going a bit easier on the smash. I know that might change the look of those crispy, lacy edges, but at this level, it becomes hard to enjoy, especially the edges, though the middle of the sandwich tastes better. A softer Martin's potato style bun would probably pair much better with the burger.

That said, the sauces & fries were good, & I liked the options overall. I think with a slightly thicker patty & softer bun, this could be much better.

Service was great however, hamburger is insulting. In smash burger the meet is not meet, it's a flat crusty thing, super tiny like a potato chip. It's too expensive to pay even in a promotion for what one receive. Zero recommended.

If burgers were a love language Le Jus just proposed to me. I'm convinced they are sprinkling some sort of addictive magic on these burgers because I've already started planning my next visit before I even finished the damn burger. 10/10. My only complaint is that now every other burger in mtl has to live in Le Jus's shadow.

Wow fantastic one of the best smash burgers in town. The meat has just the right crispness to it. Fries & poutine were also good but the burgers are the stars of the show!!! The staff was number one!!!! Easy to talk to & even sold me on their donuts which come from Deux Becs in Brossard.

Franchement un des meilleurs burgers de Montréal. Le smashburger du Jus c'est simple mais tellement bien fait. La viande est juteuse, bien smashée, tu sens que c'est de la qualité. Mid Overwhelming way to much sauce it drowns the patty, soggy fries no seasoning & pricey. Disappointing based of off the good reviews.
