Very talented group & enjoyable music, but paying so much to STAND in line waiting so long for doors to open, when advertised they would open 60 minutes ahead of concert, but didn't until maybe 25 minutes in advance is not cool! Especially for an aging &/or mobility-challenged segment of the population. At those prices, & in view of how short the duration is of each concert, at the very least tickets should provide specific seat numbers, not be only General Admission! Also, the absence of any English description, explanation, etc. was blatant!
Restaurant: Was very disappointed that I couldn't see the large historical main dining room, you eat in an adjacent hallway & the doors to the main room are closed, you can't even peek in through a window. I indicated that I am intolerant to eggs, the tree plates I was given all contained eggs. Ton's of butter in everything, very salty. Staff were nice & said they were sorry, some items that I could not eat at all were credited, I had to wash my asparagus in water to remove the egg sauce.
Très beau décor, plats de style brasserie bien exécutés & service irréprochable.
Breathtaking, beautiful & nostalgic. A gem! The food was delicious & the service is exceptional! Thank- you for a memorable evening.
So where to begin ? The staff was incredibly friendly & finally i go somewhere where they deserve their tips. & when our waitress saw that the main dishes were way too slow, she decided to order us 3 amuse bouche that were delicious ! ( tomatoes with olive oil & blue cheese & 2 choux with liver pate) The ambiance wasn't as awesome as expected, the decor is basic, the big room that everybody seems to be awe of, has nothing particular, the story behind it though is cool but not so cool as to make me want my friends & family to see it. The food, because we went for that. Well you have no clear separation of entrees & main which is a little bit weird, maybe it was the high in the 20s. Nevertheless the chicken peas crepe was pretty good & if you are looking for a good piece of beef the bavette at 39$ really does the trick, the meat was cooked as ordered (rare) & the butter above it was pretty tasty. The dessert- not on the menu- was incredible All in all for 3 drinks, 2 entrees, 2 mains dishes & 2 dessert with tips I paid around 250$-yeah it's not somewhere you go every week for sure but definitely a place where I could recommend
Unfortunately not up to our expectation (party of 2).Much overpriced for what it serves. Filet fries: the meat was not tender & the fries were fried twice, as if we were in a fast food. It was a wednesday at 9:30 pm so not busy. The hamburger came without any touch of salad or fries. The bread(paid extra) was good, & the meat tartare(as entrée) was average.
We hosted an event at this spectacular venue two weeks ago! The ambiance was gorgeous, the staff were incredibly helpful, ensuring that every detail of our event was taken care of, & the food was delicious. From setup to service, everything was top-notch. We'll definitely be returning for future events!
Super tasty super fun, amazing event space & dining area as well. Great view of downtown & a nice historical vibe.
Magnifique salle où j'ai eu la chance de voir un concert Candlelight. Décors style art deco authentique & bien préservé!
This is a gorgeous historic location with beautiful art deco original fixtures. Food is delicious - especially the steak tartare & the desserts. Look forward to a repeat visit soon!
I don't know what I was expecting when I walked in to le 9e, but any expectation I had prior, was exceeded ten fold. The food - let me just say that Liam Hopkins is a GENIUS & has the most exceptional palate! The decor - whoever did theirs come do mine! The vibes - probably invented here. Seriously, don't walk - run. 10000/10 recommend!
Great food. Excellent service & an Epic decor. A stunning addition to the city!
