A true gem of the neighborhood! Great wine list, awesome & fun menu with plenty of things to share with the table. Nduja & anchovy toast & the shrimp toast were just what the doctor ordered on a balmy summer evening. Last but certainly not least, the strawberry pavlova had the hands down best meringue I've ever been served at a restaurant; excellent crisp outside, perfect chewy center, & held up against piles of fresh strawberries & pillows of whipped cream. Service was excellent, & even though they had sold out of the bottle we were hoping for, they were able to substitute something that compared both flavor & price wise. Will definitely plan on being back here when back in MTL!
The food was very good overall.
Each dish was quite small & a bit pricey, but there was a nice variety, & I felt satisfied in the end. The price also includes tips, which is nice.
I especially loved that the beef tartare came with an egg yolk on top.
The Kedgeree was flavorful, although the rice was a bit too crunchy for my taste.
The atmosphere was open, clean, & comfortable. It's also a great spot to stop by after getting bagels nearby.
highly recommended. ive been there a few times & it never disappoints. food is delicious, staff very easygoing & nice, tips/service fees are included in the prices you see which is really nice! even when there's a full house, it's not too loud, awesome place in the mile-end

Did not really get what the hype was about! I'm really grateful that the prices include the tip & the staff was absolutely adorable but for me it didn't make up for how small the portions were & the food was good but nothing out of this world or interesting enough to justify such prices. Moreover the place is made to host as many people as possible which makes it quite unpleasant to eat there with staff constantly coming behind you or brushing against you + the ungodly noise it makes ! If you're rich I guess you can go but otherwise wouldn't really recommend :) 25 dollars for a small burger with barely anything in it feels a bit crazy to me
Such a fabulous restaurant! The food is amazing, reasonably priced & seasonal. The staff is very friendly, plus they include the tip in the price. 10/10 would recommend
We loved the squash plate! The combo of pistachios & feta cheese was lovely & the added cumin was a nice kick!! The pie was delicious too, especially with that whipped cream on top. The pasta was meh for us, nothing special. The sandwich had fluffy bread & the cheese flavor really came through, well balanced. The beef was nice & tender, but we felt the chimichurri sauce was a bit bland. We will come back to try their brunch one day.
Butttt the price tho.. for the super small portions they were overpriced.
The food was delicious. I had the chicken liver on toast. Very creamy. Squash soup was delicious. Very good service waiter explains the various dish. Artisan beer IPA was fruity. I would go again. Prices look high but they include gratuities.
If you're in Montreal you have to try Larry's. So good we went twice!! Incredible scrambled eggs, bread & jam is a must, coffee was awesome. Service is great too, & gratuity is included in prices so you don't have to stress about tipping. I wish all restaurants did this!!
Place is very cute. But honestly the food was ok…Very pricey & tiny. I took the beef tartare & it was very blend (24$ for the smallest portion). & I took the scone too, & inside it wasn't properly cooked (11$ for 1 scone). But coffee was good.
