Review Summary

L'Amour du Pain is widely celebrated as a charming destination that offers an exceptional selection of pastries, including highly acclaimed almond croissants and decadent desserts, all served within a unique setting that doubles as a home decor and plant shop. Visitors frequently praise the friendly and welcoming staff, the cozy atmosphere, and the quality of the freshly made baked goods, often noting that the location in Old Montreal provides a lovely environment for a morning coffee or a quick snack. While the vast majority of guests find the experience delightful and top-tier, occasional feedback suggests that coffee preferences or the specific texture of certain items can vary, yet the consensus remains that this bakery is a must-visit gem for both locals and tourists alike.

Cute cafe bar inside a lovely modern furniture shop. It's way better than you'd expect! The croissant & pommier were excellent & the coffee & London fog crafted with care. The London fog is particularly delicious made with Camellia Sinensis tea. The woman serving us was very nice, she was a great barista & friendly

Amazing service & cute spot. The croissant was okay, soft on the inside & flaky on the outside but couldn't taste the butter. Pain au chocolat was much better! Would recommend getting that instead

Fairly mid - all the items we had were extremely soft - croussonts, pain suisse, chocolate almond, & apple turnover. Taste was okay but texture was bad all around.

I felt compelled to leave this review because this is about more than advertising-it's about accessibility & safety. A large sign is placed that takes up nearly half of the available walking space. It's especially inconsiderate for anyone using a wheelchair, walker, or stroller, or simply when two people are passing each other. Businesses shouldn't treat public sidewalks as extensions of their marketing space. Please consider placing the sign closer to the building or removing it altogether.
