Attended a Tuesday lunch at this restaurant & was surprised to see it completely full (Tuesday... & lunch!). If this was an indication for how good it was going to be it did not disappoint. The menu is difficult to choose from because of the wonderful selection & to make things worse, the waitress described the Menu du Jour which complicated matters of choice even more. Everything our table of 3 ordered was exquisite & bursting with taste. The ambiance was bustling however we never felt rushed or pushed in any way. I had been here a few times in the past & never took the time to review. Their is not a dish that missed at this restaurant. Likely the best Italian restaurant in the West Island (& I would include most of Montreal for that matter).View more

Nice Italian restaurant, with vegetarian options, but no rib steak, lots of variety of alcohol, pasta is good, of course they are Italian, calamari, octopus, short rib on big bone, well done , no need knife to eat 😀, with asparagus, just par level, creamy sauce seafood pasta, bar & restaurant, with tv screen for sports , good for party with many people, parking is easy all around the building, plus parking lot for street mallView more

Exceptional service set the tone, with a waitress whose presentation skills were unparalleled, adding to our overall delightful experience. Starting with a burrata imported from Italy, it was undoubtedly one of the finest I've tasted. The complimentary bread, served with perfect butter, was a treat in itself. The Gnocchi di Ricotta al Pomodoro con Burrata was a pleasant surprise for a non-gnocchi eater like me. The lamb dish we shared was flawlessly cooked, offering a remarkable taste. The crème brûlée, while not the highlight, was still enjoyable. The ambiance enhanced the dining experience, making this a top-notch Italian restaurant. Service is friendly yet attentive & professional, the guys really take care of you. I enjoyed grilled salmon last week for lunch as much as I enjoyed my duck break for dinner last night. Excellent wine list & nice choices by the glass also. A nice option from going to the village.

The servers are professional & know how to serve. One server recognized us from previous visits, which was an added pleasure. Our server David, had a perfect wine recommendation that matched our four varied mains. The specials are well-conceived & all of the menu items are well-orchestrated. Nothing gratuitous on the plates, & the garnishes are perfect, nothing superfluous. In short, this is a professional, high-quality Italian restaurant with excellent service. Some of the best escargot & octopus that we've ever had. They also had a perfect dessert with sparkler for my father-in-law's birthday. Perfect classy touch.

& thanks to Derek & his amazing staff we had the most PERFECT night!
The food was cooked to perfection, the staff were very attentive to each guest, & the ambiance was presented perfectly! If you're looking for the best Italian food in the West-Island or even in all of Montreal you really NEED to go to La Verita! We look forward to going back for dinner & drinks & also look forward to celebrating many more special occasions at this picture perfect restaurant!

Well... where shall I begin...? I ABSOLUTELY love that restaurant. It is definitely my favourite Italian restaurant, ever since I discovered it I have been ignoring all other Italian places. As a matter of fact, it's my favourite restaurant period. The food is to die for, I keep going back & simply cannot get enough! The service is fantastic, I have never seen such friendly, professional, funny, smart, efficient waiters. The decor is fabulous, modern, tasteful! Ambiance is perfect, warm, welcoming... Go see it for yourself!
