Great restaurant!
It was our first time & it will not be the last one.
Appetizers were very generous & main course were very good. What I appreciated the most is that the cook adjusted my meal to my taste. They did a grilled Veal Tomahawk for one ( it was not on the menu ) & it was very good. This is what I call customer service & a great cook that is ready to please its Clientele.
dessert was a nice touch to finish the meal & the shots of Sambuca were a must to end a great evening.
In addition, we did not have one waiter but three. Efficiency, fast response & great food & wine recommendations.
Congratulations to the entire La Verità team. You all deserve a 5 Stars.

A very nice restaurant with many imported items from Italy, depending on the season. The decor is chic, & the ambiance is pleasant-lively but not too loud! Our waitress, Dovina, provided amazing service, offering excellent suggestions & in-depth details about the uniqueness of each dish. We enjoyed the burrata, beautifully paired with pistachios, pomegranate, honey, & balsamic-absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were fair & well-balanced, leaving us perfectly satisfied. A perfect place for special occasions, it's worth what you pay for! For the main course, we had the ravioli d'aragosta, which was creamy & flavorful. We also tried the grilled lamb chops, perfectly cooked & tender, served with asparagus, mashed potatoes, & peppers. For dessert we shared a maple cheesecake that was sweet & delightful. Nice décor & great staff who are attentive to clients. Nice selection of wines. Generous portions. I had the soup of the day which was grilled vegetables made into a super delicious cream. I followed that with the mushroom rizzoto, also extremely delicious & fresh. My wife had the home made gnocchi, also amazing. Lots of free parking & easy to access for anyone with mobility challenges.View more
We went to try this restaurant for the first time. Had fillet mingon & the wife had veal. The description & as described by the waiter not accurate. My fillet minion was extremely small but cooked just as I liked. The veal was the one with the bone. Not much sauce very dry, but cooked ok. This plate was coved with tons of salad. Service not bad had the feeling the older gentleman waiter did not like his job. Not to friendly cold. The young man filling water glasses & helping, was very pleasant. dessert was not bad. Cappachino good. Note: When asking for glasses of wine you are supposed to pour at the table not take glasses away. Did I get the wine I asked for? The price was well over $200. Overpriced by far. via LibroOn Thursday December 14th we had our company Christmas dinner at La Verita. We were a party of 20. We had a multi-course meal which included fresh bread & focaccia, calamari & crab cakes, an appetizer of prosciutto, melon & mozzarella, a plate of penne pasta with tomato sauce, a green salad, & a main course of braised beef or salmon. Dessert was home-made tiramisu. The food was excellent. There were plenty of wine choices & a variety of hot drinks to follow the meal. The service was consistent & friendly. We were quite amazed that the food was hot & served all at once. Derek & his team did an excellent job. We will most certainly have future dinners at La Verita. Definitely a restaurant with class, great service, & excellent food!

Excellent service from Stéphanie for my boyfriend's 41st Birthday on Friday September 15th.
We had cocktails, wine, appetizers, the main course was hard to choose & you know how it is.... You always wish you had picked the first choice... (which was the Ossobucco ) Even the second choice which was the Risotto with fungi & cream & unicorn whispers====they will never admit it but they use it as a secret ingredient
So I had the Ricotta Gnocchi topped with Burrata. Still good bug I'm never really hungry by the time we get to our main courses.... Not after 3 appetizers & sometimes bread
It was awesome. Stéfan was very pleaded.
Stephanie gets mentioned in a lot of reviews because she is a pro & also quick, efficient & the right amount of talking back .

via LibroHard time understanding the waitress. Spoke very fast. She seemed to be nervous. When we were asked if we would be having wine with the meal, we Cleary stated that we not be drinking that evening & that water would suffice. Despite that, she kept on insisting on other beverages. When we politely declined, she seemed to have gotten a little irritated. Other than that, truly enjoyed the evening & as usual the food was fantastic. That is why we are regular customers at the establishment....year after year.

A nice menu not to big - not to small - well presented dishes, proper portions, great flavors. A nice selection of wines as well. Services was polite professional & attentive.

Service is friendly yet attentive & professional, the guys really take care of you. I enjoyed grilled salmon last week for lunch as much as I enjoyed my duck break for dinner last night. Excellent wine list & nice choices by the glass also. A nice option from going to the village.

Whenever we are on the West Island (2x a year) we try to dine at La Verita. Post COVID hasn't changed the caliber of the servers & quality of the food. On this recent visit, our server Stephanie was excellent from her knowledgeable recommendations to her ability to tailor our meal & wine to meet our personalities. This restaurant is a great example of having excellent cuisine, with consistent execution year after year. We look forward to our next visit!

via LibroThis was our fourth visit with family in two years (we come each time we visit from the states). The food continues to be high-caliber/quality. The servers are professional & know how to serve. One server recognized us from previous visits, which was an added pleasure. Our server David, had a perfect wine recommendation that matched our four varied mains. The specials are well-conceived & all of the menu items are well-orchestrated. Nothing gratuitous on the plates, & the garnishes are perfect, nothing superfluous. In short, this is a professional, high-quality Italian restaurant with excellent service. Some of the best escargot & octopus that we've ever had. They also had a perfect dessert with sparkler for my father-in-law's birthday. Perfect classy touch.

I found this restaurant on a simple web search & based on the reviews I read decided to try this restaurant with my wife on our anniversary. Suffice it to say the service & food were very, very good. They have a set menu which you can see on their web site but they also have a menu that changes weekly. My wife & I both chose from the weekly menu, she & gnocchi & I had osso bucco with risotto. The gnocchi was like a cloud & the osso bucco melted in your mouth. The wine recommendation was spot on & the carrot cake for dessert finished offd the meal beautifully.
The attention to detail & the wecoming friendliness of all the staff was perfect. I highly recommend!
