Open since 1985, our restaurant offers a Swiss and European cuisine which is very comforting, including our traditional raclette dish. Founded in the Swiss Alps, this typical dish is offered here with the same authenticity as where it came from. La raclette, which is also the name of the cheese used for this dish comes from the action of scraping the cheese melted by a heat source to your plate. So you can enjoy this dish already prepared for you in your plate or using our oven that allows you to heat and scrape the cheese at your table. Also, in the purest tradition, this dish is served with cold meats (ham and beef) which comes from the region of Grisons in Switzerland, our pickles and pickled onions and potatoes. The quality of ingredients and simplicity are all the charm of this traditional raclette.

We come to this restaurant every time we visit Montreal from the US. It never disappoints! It not only about the excellent food, but the experience as well. The presentation is first class, our server was super attentive as well. I highly recommend La Raclette.

Absolutely fabulous dining experience. The food & service was exquisite. One of the best dining experiences we've had. We had butternut squash soup, followed by a delicious beet salad & finishing with the cheese fondue. The cured meats were delicious & the bread was perfect. We topped off the meal with a chocolate dome smothered in a whisky cream sauce. Wow! Would totally recommend this restaurant if you love top quality food & ambience.
The Good : the Pierrade; Raclette & Service
The Bad : the appetizer was tasty, unfortunately, the Gazpacho was too salty for all three servings (three different orders).
Overall : There is no Ugly, we would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Superbe cadre, le service est vraiment excellent. Les serveurs sont vraiment sympa. La fondue a l'échalote est délicieuse avec en petit dessert le mont blanc, on se serait cru en Suisse !
Rapport quantité, qualité & prix est vraiment respecté. Je le recommande fortement !
Belle découverte sur la charmante rue Gilford! Bonne ambiance (prochaine fois, terrasse oblige!), bonne bouffe avec belle présentation, service professionnel & amical, prix plutôt élevé mais considérant l'abondance, le travail en cuisine & le concept BYOW, ça vaut le coup (surtout en formule 3 services). Je recommande!

Personnel souriant & attentionnés, fondue au fromage exquise! ...Seul bémol, air climatisé a l'intérieur un tantinet trop froid. Sinon, je recommande d'appoint votre veste & tout ira!
