We were a table of 8 plus a baby. Brought my family whom was from out of town to come eat to celebrate my stepson's admission into the army. The owner/waiters were so attentive & caring & gave us extra attention by conversating with us as well as showing how they are family oriented. It was exceptional service that we have never gotten in any other restaurant i have been to in Montreal or even anywhere. The food was excellent with not a long wait between courses. The whole meal ended with a little extra thought by the waiter whom brings a little glass filled with candy. The finishing touch that makes the clientele want to come back. i couldnt ask for a better place for a family reunion after years of not seeing each other, food was fantastic, staff/owner are on the spot, service was aswome, even with little details such as wine decanter, pot of candies etc. i recommand this place, well established restaurent loved it verry much!Voir plus

via LibroI don't speak French but believe I have given you the highest ratings! We had a great time at La Medusa & will definitely keep this in mind for future trips. This was our first trip with the full family of four, last year our son & myself at there both nights that we were in town & had great meals.

via LibroA fantastic experience. This family owned & operated restaurant hits a home run. From the ambiance to the dessert, everything works. Staff (mostly family) are all friendly & knowledgeable. The wine suggestion was perfect. The food was to die for. From one foodie to another this is definitely worth a visit. Don't pay attention to OLD REVIEWS that had issues, they have all been addressed.

Sadly, Joe was enjoying some time away, & we missed him, but once again, the staff took great care of us & our family that we brought along.

via LibroIf you want an authentic Italian experience I highly recommend going to La Medusa. The food, the staff, the service, & the atmosphere make it one of the best restaurants in Montreal if not Eastern Canada. I am from Vancouver & make sure I reserve a night here for dinner with clients when I come to town. They carry an excellent wine list at all price levels. Homemade pastas are old family recipes. The homemade desserts - cannolis & tiramisu - are worth saving some room for. The veal & steak dishes melt in your mouth. My biggest challenge is trying to decide what to eat - it is all so so good!!!

Very disappointed & surprised in owners answer when I asked why our food was taking over 30 minutes to be served; (Hey buddy, Take it easy, I have 100 people here to serve).
Obviously this gentleman has become disconnected in how to answer politely to his clients. I have worked in the service business for over 10 years in my younger days & never have ever been rude & impolite to a client.
To make a long story short; I will never go back to this restaurant or recommend it, being told out loud to TAKE IT EASY in front of my friends & family was disrespectful & degrading, goodbye La Medusa..!

via LibroI never leave reviews. But for my experience, it's worth it. Had a great time. The staff were awesome, very helpful. Even other customers were nice, it felt like a family owned environment with friendly faces. As for the food, crazy delicious. An all around great experience & will definately return.

As always, Excellent service, delicious Fine Italian cuisine, lovely ambiance, comfortable seating. Very diverse menu, something for everyone. They are extremely accommodating if you have a special request. Wonderful suggestions & they go out of their way to make sure every guest is well taken care of. Sensational mix of fresh ingredients, incredible recipes prepared beautifully. Perfect place for romantic evening, family celebration or a night out with friends.
