Most of our impressions of dumpling restaurants are: crowded, noisy environment, & unaesthetic design. However, I found a dumpling restaurant that feels like home! It is called--The dumpling hut. From the dough to the fillings, everything is handmade. Fennel dumplings, lamb dumplings, & vegetarian dumplings are all very good. You can eat in the restaurant or buy semi-finished products to take home.
amazing pork zucchini & shrimp dumplings. rich broth of the wonton soup while sitting you can see the chef rolling the dumplings & wontons by hand by far a must see place with a cute ambiance with delicious food as fresh as it can get
A 15% service charge is required. Sometimes you have to wait longer if there are not enough people. The handmade dumplings taste delicious.

Nice chill atmosphere & good value for money. It has a more of a house vibe than a commercial restaurant which is nice. Vegan tofu dumplings were great, around $15
This small but lovely restaurant had the best dumplings I've ever had! The woman makes the dumplings by hand right there in front of you as you eat. Highly recommend & although they were very busy the one waitress kept up with everyone there. Just a great place to go for some very delicious dumplings.
Probably the best dumplings I've had in Montreal. Authentic Chinese dumplings. The owner & staff are super friendly. Very charming dining environment. Highly recommended from a long time customer.

Not like other Asian restaurants, this place only serves so many kinds of dumpling! It's quiet & nice restaurant, the cucumber salad is spicy but good spice! I only 16 dumpling & very satisfied!

Very simple delicious dumpling place. The dumplings (plate of 10 or 16) are the best in town. There are a dozen different ones. My favorite: beef&coriander or shrimp, pork & zucchini. Great spicy cucumber salad. A green tea. & that"s it. Small restaurant (~6 tables). Service is fine.
We stopped by this place on the way home, I'll just say the dumplings are 10/10 very tasty, we took number 3 & number 8. I can't say anything about the service, because it was takeaway. The interior, for my taste, is not very good, because it is a converted typical Montreal apartment, on the first floor of a duplex, & let's say I wouldn't go there on a date or with my family, but there are those who like it, so I think the main thing is the food, I'll come also, thank you 🙏☺️
