Gumbo was very tasty but the Jambalaya tasted like it had been cooked in a very sweet ketchup over all unpleasant taste & for the price... one person 50$ for a tasty appetizer & a very disappointing main... probably won't return unfortunately

The food was absolutely incredible, the grilled corn bread was the best I've ever had, 11/10. Even got to try Alligator bites! The dino ribs are insane & the garlic mash was also impressive. Couldn't recommend a better restaurant. Jake was super cool & had great banter, ask him about his favorite joke!

I just love it. The food was simply devine. I do not feel there is anything I could add to that - I enjoyed every single bite. Wish I could visit it again.

Last time I was here, that was ages ago. I am delighted to find one of our rare Cajun-Creole southern cuisine's restaurants, Restaurant La Louisiane in top form (that same excellent service, that same well kept interior, that same great soul of yesterday & always), ages later. I told my waitress & waiter (two world class professionals of the industry, BTW) that Restaurant La Louisiane is aging really well & I mean it. A coup de Coeur, ages ago. A coup de Coeur today as well!

Really wanted to like this place!
Food is great but serious coaching needs to be done on service.

Today we walked out after waiting more than 20 minutes (with no water served) to be attended to when tables who had JUST sat were having their orders taken. Had this been the first time; whatever busy nights happen. Unfortunately this was a second chance we were giving.

Our first visit, we were sat, given time to look at the menu - & like today - were left to wait for around 20 to 30 minutes while other tables who just arrived were getting served. We even signaled we were ready to order.. We finally get our order taken, all is well? No. 40 minute wait time for our plates. Tables who arrived AFTER we had our order taken sat ate & left before us. For every plate we ordered 20 to 40 minute wait times. A side of fry which we were told was on the way was forgotten on the pass & we had to point it out after like 15 minutes. Before leaving we ordered desserts with the bill. After another lengthy wait, we are brought the bill with no desserts in sight but it's still on the bill. I have to point it out & the waitress is in shock that we didn't get it.

I don't know who is in charge of training but clearly a better job needs to be done..

Again, really wanted to like this place & after a first bad experience, I can laugh it off - it happens, but a second time is straight up disrespectful.. ):

Great service, great people, great dishes, warm environment. They are busy which means that at times one has to expect a reasonable delay for seating. However, their communication about wait times , attention to detail & kindness is the reason we return & continue to patronize this establishment. This place makes you feel at home & makes it worth your while every single time.
Thanks again for the hospitality.

A great place for authentic Cajun dining. Nice outdoor & indoor seating. The menu is pretty extensive including starters. I really enjoyed the coconut shrimp to start. The bartender is excellent & masterful with drinks. The blackened fish of the day was cod & quite excellent. The desserts are very good with the pecan pie being solid yet well done. The server was exceptional so kudos to her for helping out with honest assessments & also navigating a severe storm that brought outside diners inside. Would recommend this place especially if you enjoy Cajun type dining.
