J'apprécie toujours un repas dans ce charmant steakhouse. Il existe depuis très longtemps. Grillades de biftecks sur charbon de bois. Le restaurant est chic mais décontracté avec un personnel formidable.

Always appreciate a meal at this quaint steak restaurant. It has existed for a very long time. Steaks are cooked over a wood grill. Chic casual restaurant with wonderful staff.

Trop cher , assiette ordinaire.
Brochette de filet mignon , patates rissolées extrêmement salées, champignon poêlé aussi salé.Tu paies pour la sauce, pour tes légumes .on était coincé dans un coin .
Le cook prend la viande direct avec ses mains , fouille au frigo reviens & prend toujours la viande à main nue.
Première & dernière fois pour nous.

Un classique du filet mignon à Joliette depuis 1972. Bien que je n'y suis pas allé dès l'ouverture 😉, j'ai pu y manger à plusieurs reprises. Toujours satisfait.

Went to google best restaurant in Joliette & this came up as #1. We wanted to eat steak & were happy to found this place. We both have newyork steak & they were amazing! We also had them with peppercorn & cognac! So good! We also had the asparagus with melted cheese for appetizer & also good! & a bottle of wine which is not very expensive around 60$ a bottle. Now we know why this is #1 restaurant in Joliette. Their steak is so good, very tasty, melts in your mouth good! The service is perfect nothing to complain about. All the girls are serving you with smile & always make sure if you need anything.
If ever visiting Joliette again, we would definitely visit La Chaumiere again.

Face à certaines critiques ici, nous étions sur nos gardes. Mais notre expérience d'hier soir fût tout simplement du 120%! Autant nos entrées que notre plat principal ont été savoureux. Pour ma part j'ai choisi le''rib eyes'' & ma conjointe le boudin & tout était excellent. Pour le service, il y a des fois où nous laissons du pourboire par politesse quasiment. Eh bien hier soir, j'étais très heureux de laisser un généreux pourboire car le service fût aussi excellent que le repas. Attentionné, passages fréquents sans être achalant & amabilité sur la'' coche''. Je recommande avec plaisir. Pour l'addition, ce n'est pas donné mais le coût du repas est en parfaite relation avec l'excellence de la place.
