La Catrina ressort comme une adresse mexicaine vive et conviviale, avec des portions généreuses et des saveurs authentiques, le guacamole préparé à la table et les tacos variés étant particulièrement appréciés. L'ambiance, le décor coloré et la terrasse du Vieux Port contribuent à une expérience chaleureuse et festive qui donne envie de revenir en famille ou entre amis. Le service est généralement attentif et sympathique, et les margaritas ainsi que les plats frais sont souvent cités comme des points forts. Quelques observations sur le rythme du service lors des heures d'affluence existent, mais l'ensemble reste largement positif et favorable à une belle soirée.
The waiters were kind but mostly taking care of the tables outside & forgot about us in the inside, so the second part of our dinner it was hard to be served & get anyone's attention. So it was boring.
Amazing service, our waitress was exceptional.
The food was delicious. Very happy that they accommodated our request to have our party sit on the terrace.

Fantastic experience! From service from staff to décor to ambiance to music played to location to food & drinks! It was honestly one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to & I have tried several in the Hamilton, Burlington, Mississauga & Toronto areas! I would recommend anyone try this restaurant & no doubt you will walk away with the same positive experience! You must try their guacamole (made at your table!) & chips! We had the grilled shrimp tacos & the pork belly tacos & the churros for dessert. Loved the Passion Fever cocktail as well! Love the wall decor & love the indoor/outdoor experience on a warm September evening. This truly is 5 star!!!!
The standout aspect of La Catrina is the portion sizes. You're served relatively big taco's (2 or 3 depending on what you've ordered) for a reasonable price. Ambience, service & cleanliness is all a 10 as well.
Food was great & staff was very friendly. We had a reservation at 9 but had to wait a half hour for our table which is ok but when we entered the restaurant it was practically empty. The waiter took another 20-30 minutes to take our order. We didn't mind because we had all night but just something worth noting.
We had never been before. Two of our Daughters live in Montreal so have some experience with the food scene around Mtl. This place is awesome.... Great service, food was excellent & one of the best Margs I've had outside of Mexico. Can't wait to go back.
Nous avons été très bien servies par Tran & la nourriture était excellente. L'ambiance était un peu bruyante mais sommes toutes c'était une belle expérience.
