Primera vez que voy a este restaurante y me gusto bastante! Al comienzo estaba un poco preocupada porque se veia suuuper ocupado pero nuestra mesera, Sonia, nos dio una experiencia inolvidable. Fue muy atenta, profesional y eficiente al momento de tomar nuestra orden y con su servicio. Quedé muy impresionada con ella, el resto del staff, y con la comida tambn. Les recomiendo ir a probar y si pueden elegir, pregunten por Sonia como su mesera! No se van a arrepenti
J'ai commandé des tacos & j'ai été très déçue. La viande contenait de gros morceaux gélatineux & nerveux impossibles à manger, ce qui a vraiment gâché le repas. Nous avons aussi pris un bol de guacamole en médium - le maximum proposé sur la carte - & on nous a servi un tout petit bol. En termes de saveurs, ce n'était pas incroyable, j'ai largement mangé mieux ailleurs. Les portions sont petites pour les prix demandés. Globalement, une expérience décevante.
Had one of the best shrimp tacos here & the spicy salsa added spice to the party.
The servers are so welcoming & friendly.

Ambiance & service impeccable!!! Dom & Andres qui parlent soit en français anglais ou espagnol sont vraiment accueillants & serviables. En plus, la bouffe était vraiment excellente. Les refried beans & les chips sont incroyables.
Amazing service, legit Mexican food made with good quality ingredients. The room is a bit on the colder side in the winter time. We would've stayed longer & had more drinks if it was properly heated. Still, a must if you're in Chinatown l/Quartier des Spectacles area.

visiting from toronto & i came for my birthday dinner & wow the tacos were so delicious with a good amount of meat & toppings!! the jamaika mezcalita was made amazingly, i wish i got to try more of their drinks but it is such a friendly & welcoming establishment i would definitely go back again!!
I was just randomly passing by & then accidentally found one of the best tacos I've had in my life.
A shout out to my Polish (Canadian) sister Sonia who is just adorable (& will call you bay 🥰) & Dom who was simply too kind.

La Capitol Tacos is a great location to get some midnight tacos on Saturday! It was located near my hotel in Montreal Downtown. Went in late on Saturday night to get some tacos. They open until 1am on Saturdays. Amazing food, amazing friendly staff. Visiting from Texas & I felt the taste was authentic. Prices is on the upper side since the location but it's worth it. Clean location. Recommended if you are in Montreal!

Don't let the location fool you, this is fantastic & Authentic Mexican cuisine. I have nothing negative to say about it. The food was delicious & I will be back when we visit Montreal again.

I come here from time to time since it's a nice spot close to downtown attractions. Overall, I like the place; the food is generally good & pretty close to what the dishes should taste like.
However, this is a heads-up about one specific dish: the CARNITAS Tacos. Don't order them. If the restaurant can't cook the meat properly, it's better to remove it from the menu. The pork was overly fatty & greasy, not well cooked at all. It honestly felt like they're cutting corners to offer it, since I remember it wasn't on the menu before.
That said, most of the other dishes are solid. You can't go wrong with the Cochinita Pibil or Pastor tacos.'
