I recently visited La Belle & La Boeuf - Burger Bar & had a mixed experience.
Starting with the positives - the food was definitely good. The burgers were flavorful, well-prepared, & the overall quality met expectations. That said, it does feel a bit on the expensive side for what you get.
Service, however, was inconsistent. Once seated, our server was polite & did a good job, but the initial welcome didn't feel very professional - it came across as a bit unwilling & not particularly inviting. The restaurant also seemed understaffed, which led to long wait times for repeat drinks, food requests, & even getting the bill.
One thing that stood out was the overall vibe of service - it felt like there may have been more attention given to guests who were more dressed up, compared to those in casual attire. That's not something I would expect from a sports bar or any hospitality-focused restaurant.
Overall, good food, but the service experience leaves room for improvement.
Definitely my favorite restaurant at royalmount, the vibes, decor, & staff are just top notch & it's always a great time when i visit. I really recommend their sangrias & their burgers.

The decor of this restaurant is very well thought out & executed. Very inviting & interesting. The menu has a lot of choices. I was with a large group of people that chose varying items from burgers to salads & other items. I chose the Montreal Grilled cheese sandwich which sounded & looks yummy in the menu. While most of the other people were happy with what they ordered I was disappointed. As you will see in the attached photos, the sandwich did not look anything like the photo. In the photo it is a thick stack of savoury ingredients. What was served was a flat sandwich that I had to squint to find the ingredients. I also found it very greasy tasting. I think it was the process of frying the sandwich in butter or oil. The so called Montreal smoked meat, was measly & almost disappeared in the cheese. As I said, everyone else enjoyed their food.
Its more a 3.5/5 overall,
We came here on a thursday nice & it was quite empty, but the atmosphere was ok.
The service was really good, just a bit slow. I am allergic to soy & nuts & our waitress checked multiple ingredient lists & was extraordinary helpful with accommodating, that was really appreciated.
The food was overall ok, the Colossus Poutine was really good (5/5), The Beauty burger unfortunately was not really tasty, as well as the coleslaw & fries (2/5).
All in all fair prices for good & helpful service & great poutines, just wouldnt recommend the'The Beauty' burger :)
This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend, & honestly it was a good call. The burgers were really delicious & full of flavor. I'd definitely like to go back & try more items from their menu.

Très belle place. Service Ok. Mais c'était le pire burger champignons-fromage suisse que j'ai jamais goûté. Ça goûtait rien, le pain était détrempé. Un gros BOF.
Belle expérience à La Belle & La Boeuf ! L'ambiance est conviviale & l'endroit parfait pour sortir entre amis. Les burgers sont savoureux & bien garnis, les portions généreuses & les cocktails originaux. Petit bémol sur le temps d'attente un peu long, mais l'équipe reste souriante & attentionnée. Je recommande sans hésiter !
Beautiful place!! I visited here last night (August 31, 2025 @ 9pm ish) & I ordered a burger meal (Smash Classique). It tastes so delicious. Everything was amazing. The workers are also very friendly & accommodating- particularly Sophie. I want to give a shoutout to her for making my experience delightful. Thank you to the staff. 10/10, I highly recommend!! 🩷

Went for dinner with a work colleague & had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious-the chicken burger was amazing, desserts were great, & the portions were generous. We arrived around 6:30 when it was quiet, but the place really picked up later in the evening with a great energy & ambiance. The owner even came by a couple of times to check on us, which was a nice personal touch. Highly recommend!
The food is good, & the wait staff is friendly. I love that they have the TV's on TSN there just like at other LBLB locations. I was a bit surprised though when I had the Philly burger to eat, where the supreme cheese sauce wasn't hot & oozing out of the burger to make for a messy experience on the hands as I ate it. I say this because I have had the Philly burger at other LBLB locations before, as well as for takeout, & part of the experience involves getting your hands messy with it. It was still super delicious though, & the fries that came with it were cooked perfectly. I am happy I went to La Belle & La Boeuf on Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal!
The atmosphere is warm & welcoming. The burgers are incredibly delicious, with a wide variety to choose from, so there's something for everyone. Each bite was full of flavor, & everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend if you're craving a top-quality burger experience in the heart of the city!

I was having a great time, overpriced for a burger but it was good but then we had to pay & that's where the problem began. I didn't have much on me & only gave a $1 tip for a bill of $24. The server got mad at me & demanded that I give her more. She was very unprofessional & blocked my way out of the restaurant which should be illegal until I paid the tip. In total I ended up giving $5. Never coming back despite the great food.
Soirée de match samedi soir. Arrivée à 16h20. Petite attente avant d'avoir une place. La dame à l'entrée était hyper professionnelle & sympathique! Service a être super rapide & comme la dame a l'entrée super sympathique.
Côté nourriture, burger, poutine, natchos étaient bons. Ailes piquantes sec. Menu pas assez varié à mon goût mais j'imagine que ça accélère le service. Ambiance incroyable avant le match
Great, unexpected spot. Had the bbq smash burger. Was very good! Loved the bbq sauce. Chips were tasty as well. Coleslaw was really decent. Very friendly staff & nice, not over the top atmosphere! Lots of burger choices!
