Might give it another shot on-premises & order a non-soup main (& try to scope whether the soups are larger portion on-premises)- I want to believe the other reviews, & this is the closest Thai spot to my apartment, but for now my choice of Thai delivery will be elsewhere...
Very nice & tasty dishes, will come back to try a different dish next time
We found this little gem of a place walking around Mont Royal streets. The food is really good. The menu is small, yet everything is flavorful & freshly made. The chicken sambal was quite tasty & so is the Krapow beef. The staff is friendly.
So far I've only had the Chicken Sambal twice, but both times it was tasty & quite filling. I think the only complaint I have about it, is that while it's labeled as very spicy it's actually not spicy at all. But you can always request it to be spicier to your taste. My only actual issue with the place is that both times I went, flies were everywhere & constantly harassing you for your food.
Great for a quick bite or takeaway, really tasty & filling, authentic.
The food is great, simple not a lot of options but they're all super tasty. The place has a lot of potential but it feels like a cheap take out place unfortunately given the choice of furniture etc, so it may be more practical for a quick bite rather than a dinner out
Krapow's menu isn't extensive but this translates into fewer carefully prepared dishes that are extremely tasty & aromatic. Highly recommend.
The Sambal chicken is out of this world & tasty. The coconut rice & baby bok choy served as accompaniment are delightful. They include a bird chilli you can cut up if you like spice so that works for me.
Their Tom Kha is not spicy enough imo, but still tasty.
They just moved location & the new place is very cute with more space to sit. Their music is also always great. Basically, I'm a huge fan.
