Great Montreal Chinese. Still my favorite. Best egg foo yung ever. Always consistent. Almost all customers are ChineseView more
Really authentic Cantonese style Chinese! A local Chinese who works as a tour guide recommended place to us. Mostly Asian guests in restaurant. We enjoyed food so much we ate dinner here 2 nights in a row. No frills, basic decor, you're here for the great food at reasonable prices. Salt & Pepper crispy pork chop. Sizzling Beef rolled around Enoki Mushroom. Jellyfish as a cold appetizer. Scallops with Choi Sum. Grouper with pork & tofu (fish does have bones) House bone broth was complimentary. You need to go upstairs to reach this restaurant. After 6pm the place was full & people were waiting. We arrived at 530, no wait. Hard to find parking in Chinatown. Our hotel was in Downtown Montreal. We used Uber about $12 CAD one way. Car can't pull up to restaurant (pedestrian walkway). Restaurant is only 2 minutes walk from where Uber dropped us off. Restaurant on right, don't forget it's the one upstairs.View more
Spring roll was good, the waitress was very fast.View more
Good option for good & cheap food, there are a lot of combos for 2 or more people to choose from, good if you want to try multiple dishes. Price is around 40 before taxes for a combo for 2. Not the best I had in the area but a nice place nonetheless.View more
It seems that a lot of people are mistakenly reviewing Keung Kee as Restaurant Ethan. You can see for yourselves the difference in the photos. Ethan has wood tables & dimsum & is at the first floor. Keung Kee is on the second floor with white plastic table cloths. Keung Kee has the best Cantonese seafood in Montreal.View more
The perfect "cheap" dumpling for the price. They are not the best, but they are one of the cheapest quick bites that you can go for in China town that's not just a simply pastry. I would recommend for a quick takeout. The sit-down part itself is fine, but I think there are still better places around depending on what you're looking for. The staff was fine but also not overly friendly, but it's fine.View more
We love the general tao of the downstairs restaurant, but the porc noodle soup just let us down, a white phosphory broth with no taste, overcooked noodles & fried pork, with a dull taste. Please do better.View more
Not a true Cantonese food, food are extremely salty. Not recommended.View more
Plats généreux. Si vous avez un petit appétit prenez les petites portions. Il y en a pour tout les prix de 6 dollars les dumplings frits à 76 dollars pour le canard laqué. Très bon endroit pour manger à petit prix.View more
Great food, great value. This place is underrated. Very canto atmosphere!View more
This is my favourite place in Chinatown. Food is great, prices are fantastic. It's always full. Staff are very friendly, & unlike other places, they discourage you from ordering too many plates. (Which I appreciate as my eyes are definitely bigger than my stomach)View more
I loved Keung Kee, an unadorned walk-up in Chinatown. We were the only Gweilo in the restaurant, guaranteeing authenticity. Don't expect fancy, but Keung Kee had AC, a pleasure in 94 degree weather. My shrimp in lobster sauce, around $17, was out of this world delicious. Singapore noodles was average according to my spouse, but Keung Kee is known for its seafood. Service was professional & pleased with my oohs & aahs. They were appreciative of my cash payment & my 20% tip.View more
Average north american chinese place. Service was underwhelmingView more
Picked this Chinese place because it opens late & has very good rating. Indeed they made my first time visit felt welcoming. The take out order was efficiently done & all tasted quite good & reasonably priced especially after converting to US$. It is an upstairs restaurant, not to be confused with the downstairs one which has a different name.View more
