Recent visit. The upkeep on the place is non existent. Still the same way it has been since the opening. Food tasteless. Service/greeting non existent. General Tao chicken is full of fat & only dark meat. Fried rice was burnt & tasted awful. Price is insanely high for the low quality food & small portions. Salt & pepper shrimp tasteless with yet another burnt taste to it.
I recommended this place when it first opened & would talk highly about it being close or even similar to Kam Shing quality.
Ken Ching realy needs to step up several notches in order to meet the original standards that they had back when they opened.
we, 6 people, have been several times for New Year Eve 4:00 dinner, can't do late nights anymore. The food was very fresh, crisp vegetables, Salt & Pepper Shrimp were perfect, the Chowmein was amazing, General Tao Chicken delish, Crispy chicken was a little dry, Beef with broccoli very good, fried rice, very good, the peanut butter dumplings were scrumptious! It worked out to be $40. tip included, per person. Well worth it!
Good Chinese in Ste dorothee. The place is nothing fancy but is perfect for Chinese takeout & leftovers. They serve a real Chili sauce tableside rather than the typical sriracha which I am so happy about. Good fried rice, good lunch specials, good general tao. Recommend as my other Chinese option is about a 20 minute ride into the other side of Laval

Have been enjoying Ken's cooking here since January 2013. The restaurant is clean, with fabric beige coloured tablecloths. Ken always comes out of the kitchen to greet his customers & then returns to your table to make sure everything is just how you like it.
There are many "a la carte" dishes to choose from. The wonton soup is always hot with shrimp filled won tons. The hot & sour soup is good also. The egg rolls are full of pork & less cabbage with a pungent plum sauce. Last time we dined, we had sweet & & sour shrimp, comes with a very light batter coating, not to heavy., braised chicken in a pot, delicious. Also had the sesame chicken, & chicken fried rice. The dishes are generous, we are always four, & always have leftovers that they pack up for you. Prices are very reasonable. One dish I really like is the Cantonese noodles, I don't know how they make it, but it is better than others I've had most recently. Reservations not required & is also a BYOB. No uncorking fee, but I don't drink wine with Asian food. They have there own parking which makes things easier than going down to china town. Al al in all, strongly recommend to others.
