Review Summary

Ken Ching receives a wide range of feedback highlighting its status as a top destination for authentic Chinese cuisine in Laval, with many guests praising the freshness of the dishes, particularly the peanut butter dumplings, hot and sour soup, and General Tao chicken. While the quality of the food frequently earns high marks, experiences vary significantly regarding service consistency, wait times, and kitchen operating hours, which have frustrated some patrons. Some visitors find the pricing and portion sizes highly satisfactory for family dining, while others suggest improvements in cleanliness and staff attentiveness. Ultimately, the restaurant is often seen as a reliable and flavorful choice for those seeking traditional recipes, despite occasional inconsistencies in order accuracy and preparation styles.

We tried this restaurant for the 1st time & was pleasantly surprised, food was excellent, portions very good, service & cleanliness over the top. Will become our #1 place.

Best chinese around, by a long shot. Now if they could just take their own schedule seriously! We just tried to order at 21:25 &'the kitchen is closed' - but the restaurant closes at 22:00! What a JOKE! Disrespectful. The pandemic'schedule' should be over by now. Restaurants that close their kitchen at 21:15 on SATURDAYS are pathetic, in my personal opinion.

I wouldn't recommend this place. We had reserved for a group, upon arrival table had a bunch of crumbs & the tablecloth had large holes. We ordered the combo & the portions were small. Food was ok but definitely nothing to be missed

One of the better Chinese restaurants I would almost give it a 5 stars. I had a 2 person combo we shared me & my friend we had a large gathering. The peanut butter dumplings were very fresh very delicious. The food itself was as fresher than most Chinese restaurants. I just had to minus 1 star just simply for their sesame beef. I was expecting tender strips of beef with sesame & nice & chewy instead they fry it & it taste exactly like a general tao chicken. So overall it was very good I would come back. Service was great just low staff they bring the table entrees before taking everyone's order. But overall it was as good & it didn't take long to receive the fresh food.

Changez jamais ! 💯
