Let me introduce myself. I am Chef Dany. After receiving my degree in Rome, Italy I worked in the best restaurants in Italy and Canada for over 15 years. I finally decided to open my own restaurant "Trattoria Romantica" in the heart of Sainte-Dorothée, Laval. Ce restaurant prend des groupes privés les dimanches. Nous l'avons donc réservé pour une fête en mars 2026. La soirée a été impeccable! Tous nos invités ont grandement apprécié la salle, le repas, la flexibilité & le service impeccable tout au long de la soirée. Un vrai succès! Trattoria Romantica with chef Daniele never disappoints!! The food is always amazing & delicious!! We highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed!!

My wife & I always wanted to try this Restaurant since we are from Ste. Dorothée. Are we glad we did.
Valentine's Menu was a plus. 3 course meal including warm Italian bread, bruschetta starter, entré, main meal, dessert & cappuccino. No longer bring your own wine, decent price wine by the glass or Italian beer.
Food was wonderful! We had grilled calamari, caprese salad, seafood pasta & my partner had ossobuco. For dessert we had the chocolate tortufo & ferraro roche cake.
The only reason I'm not giving the food 5 stars is because the caprese was chilled so I could tell it was prepared ahead of time & stored in the fridge. I would have preferred room temperature & fresh.
I came her once & immediately fell in love with it. I love the rectangle tables & the service was quick because of the 4 servers. I ordered salmon & it was SO good. Will definitely be coming back.
Des gens accueillants & avenants qui nous on même fait découvrir une boisson que nous ne connaissions pas pour la fête de notre papa. Nous étions en terrasse & peut nombreux à y être.
