Let me introduce myself. I am Chef Dany. After receiving my degree in Rome, Italy I worked in the best restaurants in Italy and Canada for over 15 years. I finally decided to open my own restaurant "Trattoria Romantica" in the heart of Sainte-Dorothée, Laval. Dear customers, I know how important you are so rest assured that my team and I will do our utmost to meet your expectations and transport you to the delightful world of fine Italian cuisine that is prepared with authentic products. For my 40 wedding anniversary decide to go to this place because of the tic toc posts about the famous gnocchi they have. 3 of us ordered gnocchi now its Saturday night around 7 pm we were told no more gnocchi we looked at each other & just started laughing. ok put out the meus again re order 1 of my guest order paradelle with meat sauce our waiter Alfredo came with our plates tells my guest no more paradelle i decide to bring you fettucce with cream sauce my guest cannot eat cream. our bottle of wine was half full alfredo came remove the bottle from wine cooler put it on the table & left with our wine cooler. in general very bad experience.

Trattoria Romantica with chef Daniele never disappoints!! The food is always amazing & delicious!! We highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed!!
We have also booked it for private events a huge success.
Yesterday we felt like having an authentic homemade meal & as usual it did not disappoint. Always delicious!!

Accueil & service impeccables, beaucoup de plaisir dans l'assiette. Ambiance agréable, volume de musique idéale pour s'entendre parler. Démographie variée de la clientèle. Hidden gem, prix raisonnables, bravo!

I passed by this resto everyday & night for many many years. I gave it chance & I was extremely impressed. A real hidden gem nestled in Ste dorothee. The grilled octopus & lamb chops were the best. As well as everything else that was ordered. Top notch. I'll definitely be going back soon.

Ouuaaaouh! incroyable !
Les meilleurs gnocchis de ma vie 😍 j ai pris celles au gorgonzola. c'est généreux , même sur la sauce que j'ai coupablement saucé avec mon pain à la fin...
Les desserts ont un gout du ciel! le tiramissu, les glaces , vraiment tout etait bon , & toute la famille a aimé.
Le serveur est tellement adorable, on avait envie de lui faire un calin. La propriétaire tout aussi adorable aussi. & pour le chef ( on ne l a pas vu ) ca se voyait qu il mettait l emotion & l amour dans sa cuisine.
Au niveau du prix , c est un bon rapport qualité / prix.
Je reviendrais c'est sure !!!!
