Let me introduce myself. I am Chef Dany. After receiving my degree in Rome, Italy I worked in the best restaurants in Italy and Canada for over 15 years. I finally decided to open my own restaurant "Trattoria Romantica" in the heart of Sainte-Dorothée, Laval. Trattoria Romantica with chef Daniele never disappoints!! The food is always amazing & delicious!! We highly recommend this restaurant you will not be disappointed!!

First time here & not last!! Food was excellent & very authentic italian. Compliments to the chef. Veal & osso bucco are a must.! Recommend this place for sure.

Toujours intéressant de voir le chef venir faire son tour en salle à manger pour voir ses convives. Tellement intéressant lorsque la propriétaire accommode les gens pour certains mets. Toujours aussi délicieux, que ce soit les Gnocchi, la pieuvre, les crevettes. Un service hors pair & attentionné.
Delicious food, romantic atmosphere, & exceptional staff. I had the pleasure of hosting my bridal shower at Trattoria Romantica in May. Chef Danny & his team provided us with authentic Italian food, & my guests devoured every bit of it. Danny was extremely accommodating & pleasant to work with. I appreciated that he always made time to meet with us prior to the event. He was always available to answer our questions, help us choose a menu, decorate the resto to fit our theme, & make sure our guests enjoyed themselves. Also, the staff was so sweet & attentive. They were pleasant, helpful, & ensured that the event ran smoothly. I truly felt that they were as happy to be there as I was. A truly phenomenal restaurant in every way. I would definitely recommend it for an event or even just a night out for dinner. We will definitely be eating here again. Thank you Danny & staff for everything!
Nous avons passé une soirée des plus agréable. Le restaurant est invitant & bien décoré. L'accueil très chaleureux & le service excellent & attentionné. Les chaises sont très confortables surtout que nous étions là pour environ 3 heures. Quant à la nourriture nos compliments au chef c'était tout simplement délicieux à tout égard. La table d'hôte qui offrait plusieurs choix variait entre 30 & 40 dollars ce que nous avons trouvé raisonnable.
Endroit très chaleureux; sommes allés plusieurs fois & toujours ravis. Personnel familial; chef proprio & son épouse à l'accueil sont devenus des amis. Très chaleureux de même qu'Alfredo serveur très attentionné. Bonne carte de vins; suggestion calmars frais braisés & escalope de veau au Gorgonzola. Merci à toute l'équipe so nous en oublions. A notre première visite nous avons été enchanté par le décor & l'ambiance. Réception courtoise & chaleureuse. Le chef est d'origine italienne, sa femme très charmante est d'origine péruvienne fait le service aux tables & son assistant lui est d'origine uruguayenne & tous parle un excellent français. Cuisine excellente. Je leur donne 5 étoiles.
Superbe soirée où la qualité des plats & du service étaient au top. Le chef renouvelle sa carte régulièrement nous réservant de belles surprises. Jamais déçu!
Tout est superbement bon,bon,bon, délicieux à souhaits, la musique, l'excellent service & recommandations, la bouffe....l'ambiance, le vino tinto !!! .Je recommande fortement , le tout à des prix raisonnnables.Merci chef.

The best casual BYOB Italian restaurant in the entire Montreal region. Superb homemade classic Italian salads, pastas, meats & desserts. Warm & inviting ambiance, like visiting an Italian aunt's home during holiday season. Very relaxed, & very comfortable. Amazing chef, prompt service, be sure to make a reservation for Thurs - Sat as they sell out often those nights!
Bonjour, je suis retourné pour la deuxième fois à ce petit restaurant italien. La cuisine est extraordinaire. Tout est frais & le personnel est d'une gentillesse extrême. Le chef vient même nous voir aux tables à la fin de la soirée, c'est une magnifique touche
Nice ambiance but small portions & overpriced for what you get. We ordered red snapper. Lasagna & pasta with rapini & sausage. Lacked flavour chef Dany. We only liked the lasagna. I asked in advance what they do for birthdays & they said tiramisou with a sparkler. They neglected to mention they charge $7 for that tiny piece. It was delicious though. Too bad they don't offer it free. I was less then impressed
Our waiter was very sweet. We made the best of it but I will not return.
Nourriture excellent, le Chef/proprietere vien d'Italie ou il as fait ses étude en resto, donc nouritture tres proche a ce que tu trouve en Italie. Antipasto pour 2 excellent, ossobuco. Avec 19 Crimes comme vin. Super. A la prochain.
