Afficher toutsauce(36) cheese(35) udon(31) chicken(30) soup(29) sweet(22) pork(21) carbonara(18) spicy(18)As we stepped into the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the two waitresses & they were both friendly & patient serving us throughout the night. They took the time to explain us their menu & give us their recommendations & it made the dining experience so much more enjoyable. The food was great. I was surprised by the level of spiciness in the carbonara udon since spicy Japanese food is usually not that spicy. I really liked the kick it gave & it added nicely to the flavours. The carbonara udon I had was quite enjoyable with the thick & creamy sauce which complemented the noodles so well. I do feel like if the tempura shrimp was a bit crispier, it would have been even more amazing. Regardless, I would love to come back & try more of their items in their menu because so many of them looks interesting & delicious.Voir plus
Super ! C'est la deuxième fois que je mange ici. Mon préféré reste le Katsu Carbonara
Les croquettes sont aussi délicieuses !Voir plus
Very nice experience. The portions are very generous. Ordered the carbonara katsu which was lightly fried, making it very satisfying. It came with a soup appetizer which was great. Will definitely come back.
The best customer service experience so far! The best Katsu & their carbonara is perfect! We've been here for 3x already.Voir plus

My partner & I ate here on Friday August 9th around 4PM. This is a small restaurant conveniently located steps away from the Guy Concordia/St Mathieu exit of the metro. It's close to the university & many other great asian restaurants. Decor is modern, clean. Recently renovated as it opened in June of 2024. I heard about it through social media, they have other chains throughout Canada & the videos I saw all featured beautifully presented, generous portions of fried pork, chicken, fish or cheese drizzles in sauces & curries. My experience was just as advsertised, & delicious! Since we dined early, the restaurant was pretty empty. We were seated right away, offered a jug of cold water & showed how to retrieve the menu. They do not serve a printed menu, you will need to scan a QR code at the table to open up a PDF menu. This is easily accesible on their website as well. The specialty is fried chicken, pork cutlets, fish or cheese deep fried in a light breading & coated with a curry or teriyaki, mayo style sauce. There are different types of curries & sauces to choose from, including carbonara which is an original idea. The dishes are served with a small soup, white rice & pickled slaw/vegetables. We ordered an appetizer of the "snow cheese balls" which are deep fried mozzarella balls covered in a sweet honey type powder. Our main meals were the chicken katsu with carbonara & the pork katsu with original curry. The portions were generous, enough to share, & flavors were amazing. Meats were super tender, the curries were mild, not spicy & the breading on the meats were krispy, cooked perfectly. There's a lot I'd love to try, highly recommend coming with more people if you want to order more food & share. Service was friendly, food was speedy & everything was tasty. Must try!Voir plus
The service was amazing, despite it being very busy we were served quickly & efficiently. Our waitress was kind & informative when we had questions. The menu was fine, had options of all sorts for different diets & it told you off the bat how spicy it was, if it was vegetarian or if it had pork etc & that was nice. The food itself wasn't great. The carbonara udon simply tasted like buldak noodles with add-ons & the katsu was crispy but nothing really special. The cheese balls were pretty good, but we didn't like the other chicken entee we got. My friends & I wouldn't go again, but we definitely didn't regret going as it was a nice experience to haveVoir plus
the cheese ball is really good!Carbonara Udon is creamy & has a rich flavor. Great restaurant!Voir plus
The service was good, the staff were polite. The chicken karaage & carbonara udon was good!Voir plus
If you're missing Japan like I am, this is the best place for a Katsu meal. Their mozzarella katsu is rich & flavorful. The red carbonara hit the spot, as did their regular carbonara katsu. I will definitely come back for more!Voir plus
First time trying at Katsuya, & I loved it. I ordered a Udon Carbonara & it was delicious💖 The rice, the soup & the salad are refillable, which is amazing.Voir plus
service was nice & attentive. the complimentary udon soup that came with our meal was so good we had thirds of it. original katsu was rly good! super crispy, not dry, flavourful curry. not as much of a fan of the brick cheese katsu, you get a lot less meat, which is replaced with cheese thats a bit bland imo. even with the ketchup-like dip.. didnt love it. the red carbonara udon is more spicy than anything, but i liked it on the side!! a lil expensive but i would still wanna come back to try their other udons + their cheeseballs (loved this too, was super cheesy) & for their original katsu :)Voir plus
The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere. We were treated to free miso soup & free whatever that thing with the jalapeno is. The cheese balls have a nice chewy texture to it alongside a sweet kick. The katsu was cooked to perfection. My friend ordered the red carbonara udon as well. It was too spicy for my liking. The rice was fluffy & the coleslaw was delicious.Voir plus
