It was okay, but I was quite disappointed. The tonkatsu was a bit overcooked (which instantly turns the pork dry & turns the breading less flavorfull), the rice was straight out bad (felt like an old batch stayed too long in the rice cooker, it had a mushy texture too). Lettuce was fine, portion size quite large. The sauce had good flavour notes but I felt like it was a bit too acidic. All in all, it's acceptable but not the high quality I was hoping for to match the ones I had in Japan.View more

Amazing food I've never tried anything like it! The udon Katsuya was different in a very good way! Takoyaki was to die for! I've tried many takoyakis in different restaurants but this one definitely tops its off! Very hospitable staff as well they are so nice!View more

I was craving fried chicken & happened to glance at the menu from outside-instantly, it caught my attention. I'm so glad I decided to give this spot a try! The Udon Katsuya (a comforting soup) was absolutely amazing. We also had the takoyaki, & hands down, it's the best I've had in the city-& I've tried plenty. Of course, we couldn't leave without ordering the Supreme Sweet Chili Chicken Katsu, & it did not disappoint. Everything was bursting with flavor. I'm 100% coming back!View more
