Kamehameha Snack-Bar is Montreal’s first ever Hawaiian snack bar. Kamehameha offers flavorful, light and fast meals inspired by Oahu’s North Shore surfing culture. Come in, kickback, and relax in our island decor, as you savour on everything from poké to acai bowls, smoothies, Hawaiian-inspired snacks and ice cream, and so much more!
Kamé - Snack Bar Hawaien is praised for tasty poke bowls and a diverse cocktail list in a warm, Hawaii-inspired atmosphere; reviewers describe fresh, flavorful bowls and good value for a quick meal, with the option to sit in the food court or take away. Some notes mention portions can feel small for the price or that sauces are add-ons that can raise the total. A gluten-free request was mishandled in one visit, leading to soy sauce contamination and disappointing service, while other comments point to teens at the counter who seemed distracted. A large rat trap near seating was also mentioned, detracting from the experience. Overall Kamé seems to offer a flavorful, vibrant experience with creative dishes and a fun vibe, though experiences vary in service consistency and portion size.
Absolutely excellent service & food. I got the classic torched salmon bowl & it was so tasty. The server was so sweet. I accidentally started speaking in English, first day back in Montreal, & she was so polite & responded in English back. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, wonderful food & people! Just as a further testament, my friend who hates fish actually really liked this bowl. The flavour was wonderful!
Had a tofu bowl with cucumbers, edamame, red onions & kale. They were quite cheap on the toppings & honestly, for $25 (with tip & all), you can probably eat much better in many other restaurants the area. Also, please, do something more interesting with your tofu! It was cubed up, served uncooked, with a bit of sauce on top; very bland. Overall, it was okay, but very far from great.
L'un des meilleurs poke que j'ai mangé à date à Montréal. Frais & goûteux, un peu dispendieux mais ça vaut le détour. Situé dans le food court Le Central, le Kamé est plus qu'un snack bar 😉
Waited over 10 minutes for my hanauma bay poke bowl on a Thursday night but I think it was worth it. I very much enjoyed all the different flavours that were in my bowl so you don't get bored, & it was filling. I also think it's very cute they named their smoothies after dragonball characters.

Excellents poke bowl & cocktail. J'y retournerai.
