The Panko Chicken & the Lamb sandwich are amazing. They make & bake the bread in house, in the moment. The fries are super crispy, service is fast, & prices are super reasonable.
Very good food, though missing a little bit of chicken in the sandwich.
The freshly made bread is easily Kahwa's standout feature-absolutely delicious. However, I think the signature Kahwa sauce shouldn't be a one-size-fits-all. It complements the tuna well, but it doesn't quite work with the chicken imo.Overall, I'd give it a 3/5. Worth a try if you're nearby, but not something I'd go out of my way for. That said, the staff is fantastic!
The poulet panko sandwich is the best chicken sandwich in Montreal. It is amazing & definitely one to come back again for. The l'italien sandwich was okay but a little too much arugula for my liking. The cafe smells a bit & it's small & the tables arent very clean but overall the sandwich quality is high & takeout works well to eat the sandwich elsewhere
I had the panko chicken sandwich. The bread was amazing 10/10. The filling was a bit lack luster because of how good the bread was. I'll definitely come back though
Delicious chicken panko sandwich for $10.80. Bread is made fresh. No wait time.
The panko chicken sandwich always slaps! This has quickly become one of my go-to spots & the place I take friends visiting from out of town. The bread is always made fresh to order (this is why I keep coming back). The playlist in the cafe is very good & the guy making your sandwich is often singing/rapping along which feels joyful. This place is a vibe, the food tastes good & the price is reasonable. I like that they have an alternative to Coke, try their salaam cola. I hope it always stays the same :)
Tried Kahwa Café after a friend recommended it, & it definitely worth the hype.
The bread is made fresh right in front of you, super fresh & flavorful. I went for the Panko chicken sandwich, & it was spot on: crispy coating, really well done. The fries were delicious & i very liked the sauce.
Chill vibe, solid prices, & the place was packed, always a good sign. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
Top 3 sandwich places in montreal. They make the bread fresh on the spot. It's always busy especially in the summer. The chicken & lamb are the best sandwiches, if it's your first time go with the chicken. Also they only accept debit or cash.
If you love sandwiches &/or north African food, this place is definitely for you. Amazing sandwiches with fresh bread straight out of the oven (literally baked in front of you) & delicious ingredients, tried the chicken & the merguez, & I have to say the merguez one was one of the best sandwiches I had in a longue time! Also the staff is very helpful & the place very cozy.
Not sure why this place is so hyped up. We went after seeing it on Instagram & to be honest it's mid at best. We both tried the chicken panko sandwich with fries. They use chicken tighs with skin, which makes it super fatty. They fry in batch & plate up as the order go, so if you're lucky you'll get one out of the fryer, but we weren't so we go a cold piece of fatty chicken. The fatty taste was lingering in our throats & mouth long after consumed. We sat down but the tables were not cleaned, & high chairs were not comfortable. All the people were squeezed in a small space. I would never go back again, but tbh at least the staff was super nice & they had good vibes, the only positive thing about this place.
Delicious food! I got the Merguez & my wife got the chicken sandwich. Both were awesome.
Great & quick service. The fresh & crunchy bread was a delight. I preferred the mergez but the chicken panko was also good but missed a bit of flavour.
First time & I loved it! Had the chicken & merguez sandwiches. The bread is insane! 😃 I would definitely come back in a heart beat.
The food is amazing & well priced, id suggest the panko chicken sandwich. The seating is pretty cramped but overall very nice. Cold in the winter so id suggest going in the summer haha
what a discovery this place is. Everything is perfect, the bread, it is hot & crispy on the outside, warm & soft on the inside. We had the panko chicken & tuna. The sauce is just incredible & one super important thing, the sandwich is all at temperature. I recommend 100%.
Cozy vibes, bread is freshly baked per order. Just amazing. The best ones are the fried chicken sandwich & the merguez
