Afficher toutsushi(183) omakase(47) quality(37) fresh(32) qualite(30) sashimi(23) recommend(21) maki(21) dessert(20) fish(19) sake(19) chef(17)The service is top notch. I had the omakase & the sashimi platter did not disappoint. Might be the first time I enjoyed all fishes (even the ones with the names we keep forgetting) The closest to Japan I've tasted in Montreal. Definitely recommended!
Great Omakase & the Funny Roll is exceptional. The staff is super nice.
It was the longest dinner of my life. The slowest service I've ever seen. It took forever to get a hold of servers & around 15-20 mins between dishes in the omakase. We spent almost 3 hours there. & the food & atmosphere was pretty average. It's absolutely not worth a $300 bill for a dinner of 2 people.
All in all a great date spot! A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it!
We took the Omakase (130$/person) & everything was absolutely delicious. A great mix of flavours, nutty, fruity, etc.
It was definitely the right pick for our four year anniversary!
Had my birthday dinner here, for my first ever tasting menu it was pretty good! I liked how the atmosphere picked up to a more energetic one as the night went on. The first dishes in their omakase had my friends & I raving about it afterwards.
Ordered the Omakase. Absolutely exquisitely prepared - with close attention to detail. Fish was beautifully selected & complimented each other perfectly. Accompanying courses are seasonal so coming back is always fun.
Although a bit expensive, the portions & the quality of the food makes up for the price. Their omakase comes with 3 appetisers, 15 pieces of sushi & a dessert for around 120$. The pieces of sushi were quite big & the cut of fishes were quite generous. I especially liked their Funny Maki because there was a great contrast in the temperature which made it so unique & delicious. I was surprised because I usually don't like fried sushi that much. As for the appetisers, I feel like the first two dishes were a bit too sour which overwhelmed the flavours of the ingredients but their octopus appetiser had a great balance of sweetness & saltiness which made it so wonderful. The quality of the ingredients is amazing, each slices were really fresh & I especially enioyed the fresh scallop sushi which had a great seafood sweetness to it. The service was superb. The waiters & waitresses were all extremely patient & professional, taking the time to explain each dish while they were serving it to the table. Even though the place was quite fancy with the minimalistic interior decors, I feel like the semi casual atmosphere fits the place extremely well & it was pretty easy to talk at our table until later at night when the restaurant was more crowded, I felt like we had to shout a bit to be heard.
Note : 1/5 Service : Les serveurs étaient chaleureux, patients & attentifs.
One of the best sushi places in Montreal hands down. Great quality of fish , excellent service & such affordable prices. I don't recommend the omakase but all their sushi is amazing. The freshness is unbeatable.
Went there to celebrate with my girlfriend totry the omakase the food was OKAY nothing incredible but not bad until we got to dessert. We forced ourself to finish it, the flavour were all over the place but not in a good way. In the end, it was good but I feel like it was just a bit better then fastfood sushi so clearly not worth the enormous prices going with the portions & flavour profiles..
