Review Summary

Juliette Plaza is widely praised for its creative, flavourful, and beautifully presented cuisine that offers a memorable dining experience. Many visitors highlight the exceptional service, describing the staff as professional, attentive, and welcoming in a uniquely designed, vibrant atmosphere. While the food is consistently described as high quality and imaginative, some patrons find the portion sizes small relative to the price, leading to mixed feelings about the overall value. Additionally, while the bustling environment adds to the charm for many, others noted that the restaurant can become quite noisy and that the seating arrangements are occasionally too close for comfort.

Super resto, bon service, bouffe hallucinantes

If Montréal Plaza is the older sibling who went to culinary school, studied under legends at Toqué!, & came home with a Michelin recommendation & impeccable posture - then Juliette Plaza is the younger sister who showed up on a Bixi, with a Éric Lapointe tote bag, & somehow still cooked something that made the entire table go quiet.

Named after chef Charles-Antoine Crête's mother, this 25-seat love letter to nostalgia & joy sits right next door to Montréal Plaza on Saint-Hubert, separated by nothing but a quirky little curtain - & yet it has its own soul entirely. The décor alone is worth the reservation: prehistoric wallpaper, mosaic floors, an open kitchen that makes you feel like you're eating at the world's most stylish friend's apartment, & yes, an actual boat rotating slowly above your head like a fever dream you never want to wake up from.

Now let me talk about the slushy. I have had cocktails in Tokyo basement bars. I have had drinks served in coconuts, in smoke-filled globes, in vessels that required an engineering degree to hold. None of them - not a single one - comes close to whatever frozen witchcraft Juliette Plaza is pouring into a glass & handing to you like it's casual. This slushy is the single greatest drink I have ever had in my life.

The food follows the same philosophy: playful, precise, & presented with the kind of care that makes you instinctively reach for your phone before your fork. Every plate arrives looking like it was styled for a magazine cover that hasn't been invented yet. Was the service a touch slow? Sure. But when every course lands on the table looking like a small edible masterpiece crafted by two chefs who clearly wake up every morning choosing creativity over convention, you're not waiting - you're anticipating. Montréal Plaza already had my heart. Juliette just moved in next door & stole it.

I originally stopped in to check out some of the stonework we completed here, but decided to stay for a bite to eat-& I'm so glad I did.

This quaint, beautifully designed bistro exceeded my expectations. Not only was the service exceptional, but the food was absolutely delicious. Although I only sampled a selection of their bouchées, every dish was outstanding.

One thing I particularly appreciated was their uninterrupted service throughout the day, which is perfect for those last-minute business lunches.

On top of that, I had the pleasure of being served by Gabriel, the consummate professional, who crafted one of the best martinis I've had in a long time.

I can't wait to return & wish the entire team continued success !
