Small place, with good food! I had the bavette de boeuf & my wife had the risotto. We both had the salmon tartare for starters. The meals were delicious.
Nous avons été hameçonnés par l'offre de MTL à table 😉, bien sûr ça a coûté le double. Mais comme les sorties au restaurant se font beaucoup moins fréquente pour ma part (le coût, la déception, les amis dispo qui ont aussi un budget serré) vaut mieux choisir la meilleure table alléchante pour ne pas se tromper!
S'asseoir au comptoir d'huîtres c'est rencontrer le restaurateur Jason-Neil, relaxe qui, surprenament avait du temps pour discuter, partager une anecdote sur le vigneron en France qu'il avait visité cet automne & dont on dégustait le vin tout en saveur. On a tout aimé de leur proposition. 🥰
De retour de voyage d'une semaine de cuisine française y'avait fort à faire pour m'impressionner. Mais oh que oui 5/5. Avec un accueil plus charmant 😉

Ps: Prévoyez 30 min supplémentaire pour vous trouver un stationnement, c'est sur le Plateau 🤷?♀?

La bouffe était excellente !!!!!
Ma première expérience dans ce restaurant était vraiment inoubliable. La décoration top, le service parfait & les plats délicieux. Bravo!!!
Le restaurant était bien situé & vraiment cozy. Malheureusement, nous avons vécu la pire expérience qui soit, ce soir. Nous avons attendu 40 min avant de recevoir nos assiettes. Par la suite, l'un des plats ne nous convenait pas, alors nous avons poliment demandé à la «serveuse blonde» s'il était possible de le modifier en cuisine; le plat de mon ami a été servi 30 min plus tard après modification. Par la suite, la «serveuse blonde» a commencé à nous snober, elle venait vérifier si les clients autour de nous étaient corrects, mais elle ne passait pas à notre table. J'ai terminé mon plat & on ne m'a pas débarrassé. Puis, mon ami a fini le sien & on encore attendu 30 min & nous avons du le demander à main levée comme à la maternelle pour qu'une serveuse vienne débarrasser. Pourtant, pendant tout ce laps de temps, ils s'enquéraient des clients à côté (débarrasser leurs assiettes, remplir leurs verres vides, demander si tout va bien). J'ignore si c'est à cause de la modification demandée que nous avons reçu ce service ou alors … (je ne veux même pas y penser) c'est une question de couleur de peau, j'espère vraiment que ce n'est pas la 2e option. Bref, c'était décevant & humiliant ! J'espère vraiment que vous prendrez note du comportement de cette «serveuse blonde» & y remédierez.

What a treat. This place is amazing. I had a discovery option on the menu. Honestly, every serving seemed to be better than the previous one, if it was even possible. The only problem I have with this place, it is not closer to where I live. Otherwise, they would see me there every day :).
C'est toujours un très grand plaisir de retourner chez Joséphine. En plus d'une expérience gastronomique unique, on y est accueilli avec beaucoup d'attention.
Restaurant très chaleureux avec une bonne ambiance! Le service à été super & la nourriture délicieuse ! Je recommande vivement ce restaurant ! Il vaut le prix!

Les huîtres étaient petites mais goûteuses, tout comme le reste du plateau avec les crevettes nordiques, la salade de crevettes & le gravlax de saumon.
Le restaurant est propre, l'ambiance tamisée & cosy, on s'y sent bien.
Nous étions placés au bar, parfait pour être tranquille, avec un serveur aux petits soins qui prend le temps de tout expliquer.
Les cocktails étaient aussi très bons 🍸
Une belle expérience gustative, un peu chère certes, mais la qualité & le service suivent ! 🦪✨
Lovely little restaurant with fresh seafood features & perfectly balanced cocktails at reasonable prices. Big thanks to the bartender Daniel for making me feel at home while traveling, I appreciated the conversation & great recommendations around town! I could see myself coming back here often! Can't wait to see Daniel featured on a famous bartending show 👍
Excellente soirée. Depuis la dernière fois le service & la carte s'est considérablement amélioré, & c'était super bon. Peut être un chouïa overpriced sur quelques plats mais ça ne m'empêchera pas de revenir.
Loved Josephine! Would be perfect for date night. I went alone & sat at the bar on a Friday & it was pretty empty. The fish special was out of this world, & I loved the oysters & the mignonette hot sauce that came with it. You are paying $$$ for not a big portion, just note that. I walked out a little hungry but knew I wanted something lighter. & it is still worth it for the flavors. One of the best meals I have had in Montreal!
