A little hole in the wall restaurant easily missed from the street because it's on a second floor. It wasn't very busy on a Saturday evening (at points I was the only diner).
I had the beef jjam bbong noodle soup, which I requested extra spicy. The noodles were perfectly smooth & chewy, & the meat was plentiful. This is probably one of the best jjam bbongs I've ever had. My critiques are that I think a leaner cut of meat could be better as there were a few pieces that were super fatty, & I also think some kimchi or pickle on the side for dine in customers would be very appreciated to cut through the richness.
Overall this was very delicious & I would totally come back to try their seafood jjam bbong or jajangmyeon next time I'm in Montreal.
Wonderful jajangmyeon & good portion size. Very sweet staff & cozy atmosphere. They brought me tea while I waited for my food & that was really nice!
I've been searching to try jajangmyeon for the longest time & I was not disappointed, it was so good & flavorful. I also loved the tteokbokki:)
The jajangmyeon is very good. Other dishes like fried chicken are good too.
