super restaurant , la nourriture était excellente & les drinks maison vraiment bon! une belle découverte à Montréal. Le service était amicale & serviable.

Le Jiao définitivement un 5 stars !!!
Nous avons eu un super service de notre serveuse qui étais a l'affût de ce qui se passait sur notre table , les mets était délicieux, nos drink aussi ( merci d'avoir été demander pour un spécial drink au litchi il était parffff ! )
Super ambiance !
Se sera encore une soirée a mettre on repeat !
I was there with a couple of friends & Mila's service was immaculate!!! She helped us with the drinks & the order. Would recommend her she's very sweet!!!
This place always has great music on of my favourite Montreal Dj's Dj Yao always has the place bumping with tons of high energy. The food is mediocre a few things are ok but nothing that really stands out per say. You dont go there for the food though you go there for the ambiance & the barman Dan is such a sweetheart always making sure your drink is full & your taken care of. The only downside are prices the drinks are very expensive.
Great place but you gotta time it well. Food portions aren't the largest for the price but still very delicious. Very nice ambiance however can get packed since it's not too big of a venue. Drinks are fine as well. They usually have good Dj's as well. I would recommend.
For the people leaving this place 5 stars - notice how few reviews most of them have left in total.
Jiao is running off mostly hype. You see a lot of comments on the service but I think this is because a lot of people leaving reviews know the staff. I noticed one bartender was already acquainted with several people in the room so there is likely a social circle backing the repertoire of this place. The service I experienced was fine but nothing worth noting.
The bar looks amazing, atmosphere is the strong point here for sure. Food is not. The shrimp dish I ordered for $30/7 pieces was food court quality at best. Very salty, not gourmet by any standard. I stopped there with the food. The drinks were great however. One dish & two drinks rang me up over $70 - in this economy this is not a place I am trying to revisit, given that I can feed 3-4 people at a Chinese restaurant with much better food for the same price.
Went for a work dinner & was pleasantly surprised, the food was amazing, drinks were great & the ambiance was also very cool, not too mention the music was on point. Will definitely be back next time I'm Montréal!!

My friend & I came from Vancouver to visit Montreal & came across Jiao. We arrived at about 9:30pm & restaurant was completely dead . We orders 3 dishes plus one drink each .We had about three different servers two female & one male. As the night went on it got busier & we were asked to move tables to accommodate another group with a drink covered by the manager which we agreed. However my friend ordered an espresso martini which tasted like it had no alcohol . When she told one of the female servers she replied rudely " well isn't that the point to taste espresso & laughed . When it was time for the bill , no where on the bill does it say that it is mandatory to tip 18% . When I imputed my own tip the server then said oh sorry it's mandatory 18% because it covers employees wages. She imputed the extra $13 & made me pay. The bill came to be $154 per person which we paid separately. Besides the music which was the only good thing there I would not recommend this restaurant
Quand on parle de vivre l'expérience du Night Life du Vieux Port de MTL, c'est d'une soirée au Jiao qu'on devrait parler. Wow 😲. Pat & son équipe sont là pour une seule chose & c'est vous en mettre plein la vue. Bouffe, Beats & Drinks. Merci ✌️

Beautiful location. The ambiance is great, with a bomb playlist for those born in 90s & 2000s. There is no way you can be feeling down with their playlist. The food is good, it's not great. Definitely a bit overpriced for both food & drinks. However, since it's a whole vibes + food package it is definitely worth visiting. Our server, Melissa was fantastic & the manager is very kind too. We got free shots towards the end of our night which was nice

Visited for a casual drink with friends, & our impromptu stay turned out longer than expected. The atmosphere is vibrant, & the DJ treated us to some fantastic classic hip-hop & R&B throwbacks. The cocktails we ordered were superb-I even had four glasses! Met some great people & the manager was also very welcoming & offered us complimentary shots during the night🙌
Excellent drinks & food. Bartenders are incredibly friendly & helpful. Jace made phenomenal custom drinks & recommended great spots around the city for tourists. Highly recommend.
