Très déçue de mon expérience. J'ai commandé un ceviche aux fruits de mer à 17,25 $ & la portion était très petite. La laitue était toute molle, ce qui donnait une impression de manque de fraîcheur, & le goût n'était pas très bon. Pour le prix payé, je m'attendais à une meilleure qualité & une portion plus généreuse. Malheureusement, je suis déçue.

Lots of choice in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal but this one will not disappoint. Good food, good service, right in the square. Bon appetit!

Used to love this place, not gonna lie, but I think the quality is going downhill. Sadly, the food just isn't what it used to be. There are some easy improvements they could make, but I guess they won't.

I ordered the beef tartare. The beef itself was good & the presentation was good, but the crackers were the same kind you'd get at a grocery store. The frozen French fries were also disappointing & felt misleading for a restaurant at this level.

Terrasse fleurie avec musiciens. Excellent service. Nous avons tous aimé nos plats. Nous fréquentons ce restaurant depuis des années. La salade de homard est incroyable, je vous la recommande!

Amazing jazz & vibes, but the food is just okay! Jardin Nelson has an absolutely beautiful hidden courtyard with an incredible atmosphere. It was crowded & lively, & the live jazz show was fantastic! They also have a huge selection of great drinks & specialty coffees.
I tried a main (the Montreal Smoked Meat) & a dessert, but the food was just ordinary & not very impressive for the price.
Verdict: 10/10 for the music & ambiance! Highly recommend coming here to grab a drink, listen to the jazz, & enjoy the beautiful setup, but keep your expectations baseline for the food.

Jardin Nelson is a gorgeous little oasis set back from Nelson Square in Old Montreal. It offers great food, a lively garden terrace (the garden terrace is protected by enormous umbrellas which are a sight in their own right). It has a calm vibe that makes every meal feel special. When we visited there was wonderful live music which only added to the atmosphere.
