Jardin Nelson is one of those places that makes a visit to Old Montréal feel special. The garden courtyard is beautiful, with flowers, greenery, & a really charming atmosphere. The live music added so much to the experience & made the evening feel relaxed & memorable.
The food was very good, with plenty of choices on the menu, & the service was friendly & attentive. I especially enjoyed being able to sit back, enjoy the music, have a drink, & take in the atmosphere around us.
The location right on Place Jacques-Cartier is perfect for people-watching & enjoying the energy of Old Montréal. It's definitely more than just a restaurant; the atmosphere & live music are a big part of the experience. A great place to visit when exploring Montréal.

What a nostalgic treat this was! Having visited 22years ago I couldn't wait to get back & it did not disappoint. Our server Francois was absolutely delightful, nothing was too much trouble, very attentive & even remembered the name of the singer who was there when I last visited! We sat in the courtyard at the back (a must!!) with live jazz music. The atmosphere was wonderful, food delicious, service top tier. Would highly recommend

I loved our entire experience. The placed was packed but we got in at the perfect time. The line built back up while we were there. Best ambiance, live music was amazing. Service was good. Food & drinks were very good. Would highly recommend!

We had a party of six, & everyone's food & drinks were amazing-& reasonably priced too. We sat in the inner courtyard for dinner & very much enjoyed the live jazz music & ambience. Super happy with the experience.

We went in for a nightcap after dinner...the re was live music that was cool but soft enough to talk...there is a nice atmosphere, the service was great as was the drink options

Magnificent terrace & a great atmosphere with lovely live music! We came for lunch time around 2pm & got seated right away. Our server was great & food was tasty!

This place has an amazing patio! It's very cute & the live music really makes it amazing for a dinner date!

Although I feel the food is not a good as before it still isn't the worst, & the vibes really make up for it.

Unfortunately, this is my second time coming & sadly we had a bit of poor service since although we understand it rush hour we felt a bit pressured on leaving.

Our server was a bit rude when requesting if we could do something for our friend's birthday, like putting a candle on the dessert, so we just ended up getting dessert somewhere else.

I don't know if it was bad luck, but I was really hoping the food & service was as good as the first time we went!
