I spent more than $150 at this restaurant & got severe food poisoning. My husband & I traveled from Toronto to Montreal for an AC/DC concert we had booked six months in advance. We stopped here for lunch around 3:00 PM, & I ordered the ceviche & salmon poke bowl.
Two hours later at the venue, I suffered a sudden health crisis-my vision went dark, I nearly fainted, & security had to call an ambulance. I spent the entire evening in a medical tent on an IV drip, violently ill. The emergency medical staff confirmed it was severe food poisoning caused by seafood.
Instead of enjoying the concert we traveled for, our trip ended with a medical emergency. Save yourself the ambulance ride & avoid their seafood entirely.

This place is unique. It has a majestic open concept garden & you eat outdoor. There is so a classy jazz band that plays most night. The menu has good food at respectable prices for a restaurant in the Old Port of Montreal. Really worth a try.

We stopped by Jardin Nelson a couple of weeks ago & sat out in that big courtyard under the trees, which made for such a relaxing lunch. My husband had the duck confit & I went with one of the crepes, both came out fast & tasted great. The staff were patient with us while we asked a million questions about the historic building, very friendly the whole time. It's a lovely spot to rest your feet after a morning of walking around Old Montreal, & we'd definitely go back next time we're in town.

We were at Jardin Nelson in mid-May, on a Friday afternoon, a party of four. We were coming back from watching the first training session of the Montreal Grand Prix, it was sunny & hot, so we decided to go for some cold beers to cool off. We sat on the front terrace, next to the street. We saw the indoor dining area, & I think they also have another terrace in an interior courtyard, but we didn't see that one. There was no waiting to be seated. Service was very good, prompt, efficient, friendly. We had local IPAs, & at some point we got some finger food to munch on. I can't speak about the quality of their main courses cause we didn't have any. A bit on the expensive side I thought, we spent some 60 CAD (25 USD) per person, tip included. But that's expected in Vieux Port... Bottom line, nice, cozy place, good beer, good service, I wouldn't mind going back one day.

Good food for a good price. Atmosphere is really nice with live Jazz music, just wish the tables would have cloth or look newer. Still definitly a good date night spot.

Excellente découverte. Nous avons pris un verre sur la terrasse couverte devant, pour nous abriter de l'orage ! Très bon cocktails. On a goûté leurs crêpes, très bon aussi. Personnel très agréable !

Food & drinks were ok . Service was ok but slow despite not being so occupied. Prices higher compared to restaurants close by.

The food arrived cold; it was a big disappointment because I was really looking forward to it.
