Have been coming here for years & it never disappoints. The lineup to eat in the back garden can be long but it moves quickly. Had nachos for starter, it was a big portion enough to share & tasted good. The Charcutière Pizza was the start of the show, really good! The servers seem to be covering a large area with a lot of tables so it can be hard to get their attention. The Jazz music is nice to listen to but can be quite loud & hard to hear people on your table talking if you're sat right by them. The garden setting is really nice & looks pretty at night all lit up. It's quite expensive but it's in the old port, what do you expect!

You're in one of the most popular tourist areas in Canada so curb your expectations. There is always a lineup but it moves quickly. The food & service are meh but it's still one of the best deals & spots in Old Montreal. The covered outdoor patio setting is lovely. We had dinner in late summer so the temperature & weather was perfect. They do have huge umbrellas that open & close in an impressive fashion & many large heaters on stands so it's probably fine in cold weather.

I stopped by Jardin Nelson for afternoon tea & dessert, & it was the perfect choice. I tried the Pouding Chômeur, a traditional Quebec dessert, & it was absolutely delicious a must-try! The service was excellent, the live music created a wonderful atmosphere, & I loved the beautiful covered open air terrace. I didn't try the food, but it looked great. I would definitely come back!
